Cadre et accueil exceptionnel.

The hotel is in a good location if you have a car to access the places to visit. Around 20 minutes to get to the known sites. The room was outdated, not worth the price, the staff are lovely so made up for it, but we wouldn't stay again purely because the prices are too much for what the rooms are. Our room was spacious but just so out of date; not in the charming way. A bit like staying at your grandmothers house sort of feeling. We were on the top floor thankfully so it was ok for noise but it is the type of place where you hear every creak and movement of someone above you or beside you. The restaurant was ok, not worth the menu price for us either though.

Très bel établissement. Chambre confortable. Service au top. Cuisine excellente. Une très belle adresse à recommander.

Pas d'ascenseur dans l'hôtel (on le sait mais c'est utile de le rappeler). Pas de coffre-fort dans la chambre. La chambre double 19 (supérieure) est en soupente avec des risques de choc de tête si l'on n'y prend garde. Petite TV écran plat. Résidence de charme, historique, calme. Bonne table. Personnel et encadrement sympathiques.

Une "patronne" souriante et à l'écoute des clients. Du calme et un paysage superbe. Un restaurant gastronomique de qualité à un prix loin des parisiens. Des pâtisseries à tomber ! Nous reviendrons !

A beautiful small hotel in idylic tranquil position in small hamlet by the Dordogne river - which was incidently perfect for a quick swim to cool off before dinner. Hotel also has lovely swimming pool for the less adventurous. We stayed in a junior suite which was perfect in every way with a double sofa bed for our daughter in a separate room. Our only complaint would be the small unlined curtains that let plenty of light in early. The dinner and breakfast were both fantastic.
