Amazing place to stay in Ios. Very family friendly and run by a super kind family. The pool and bar were highlights we enjoyed every day. Overall this place is a great deal for the price and if we are ever in Ios again we would stay here.

It was perfect for what we needed. Turned out to be a blessing our previous hotel cancelled on us. Location was spot on the pool was great. Breakfast very good. Well run family hotel. Thank you. Wayne and Brent

I recently stayed at Yialos Ios Hotel and had a mixed experience. Initial Room Experience: The initial room was disappointing (traditional economy). It was dark, humid, with yellowed pillows and a barely functional hair dryer. The door would lock with difficulty, and my window faced a junk pile. Insects were coming in from under and around the door frame, making it impossible to sleep for two nights (I was afraid the insects were going to get on the bed). When I reported this, the front desk dismissed my concerns, assuring me the insects wouldn’t harm me. Room Upgrade: I paid for an upgrade, and while the new room was much better, it still had issues like the bathroom bin trash which was left from previous visitors. The room wasn’t ready at the discussed time, which was frustrating as I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my valuables at the front desk (these were work work related devices which provide MFA). Breakfast: The breakfast offerings were underwhelming (I will admit to being picky with food). Safety and Staff Interaction: A positive aspect was the presence of a night guard who helped me feel safe. Positive Aspects: Once I changed rooms, my stay improved. The pool area is fantastic, and having a restaurant on-site was very convenient. Recommendations: I do not suggest staying in the traditional or economy rooms located in the old building. If you stay at Yialos Ios Hotel, book a room in the newer buildings, these are listed as superior and deluxe rooms.

This is a very professionally family run hotel. Dimitri, Sophie and Dimitri's parents cannot do enough for you. They want to know that every guest has a positive experience. When i asked if they have gluten free bread, they arranged that it would be available for breakfast each day. The family ensure the hotel is cleaned to the highest standards. This is our second stay at The Yialos hotel. The first time, we stayed in one of the smaller rooms so this year, I booked a bigger room. This of course is about personal choice. The hotel is ideally situated for the port and is a short bus ride into town. It is also close enough to walk to/ from town. They make amazing frozen pina coladas. We will definitely be back.

A wonderful 4 night stay at the Yialos IOS. We were given such a warm welcome on arrival, the staff are so friendly & helpful. The pool area is immaculate & beautiful to around. Good breakfast options with a small hot selection & pastries available. The room was clean and a decent size with a lovely patio area looking out to the pool. Our only minor niggle was some of the fixtures/fittings are looking a little tired, but this does not affect the stay or cleanliness of the room. Good location near the port if you don’t want the rowdiness of nearby Chora/Myloplatas (easy accessible by bus/taxi) if you do fancy a party. We would definitely return. Thank you Yialos!

This is a lovely family hotel with lovely staff. The room was clean and tidy and bed lovely and comfy, it’s a short walk to the harbour. A great location to get to most places. The pool area was nice and the sun-beds are comfy, Overall it’s a lovely boutique hotel. I’m losing it a star because of a couple of reasons, the water in the showers is salt water. It was really annoying for me. I have fine very long hair, and couldn’t get a lather up in my shampoo because of the salt in the water. I had to use bottled water to wash my hair. I would also urge the hotel to offer snacks at the pool bar- things like crisps or chips. They do have a lunch menu but sometimes when you don’t want a full lunch, it would have been nice to have some snack options. There is a supermarket in the harbour but for ease - it would have been good option for an impromptu drink and snack. It would also be great if they offered drink service at your sun-bed by the pool, rather than you having to go to the bar. They could earn so much more money if they did this. Also bear in mind there is no gym available at the hotel. Apart from this evening else was fine. You get a great selection in the morning for breakfast and lunch options are very good and large portions. If I was coming to this island again, I would stay here again.

We loved this place. The whole vibe is friendly, chilled, and peaceful. The pool area with the bar and various comfy seating is stunning, while the staff are lovely and very helpful. The pool never feels too busy which adds to the laid back yet unpretentious vibe. The Traditional Studio was beautiful; the decor and overall style are spot on. Just a few minutes walk and you’re on the calm, lovely Yialos beach, with its cute eateries and cafes, and the port where the boat came in from Athens was just a few minutes further on foot. Highly recommended, we’d love to come back.
