Elite City Resort

Expected much more - room was quite cramped, got 3 twins instead of double and cot for my daughter. Pool is large but 7/8 if it is very deep~7ft. WiFi worked ok but took long time for air conditioning to cool off room. Also had a rooster near by that would wake us at 5:40 am. Not impressed.

Beautiful facilities. Gorgeous views of the sea and mountains from our furnished balcony/ terrace. very friendly and accommodating staff, organized and clean beach with service . Absolutely breathtaking!

The staff was very accommodating. (Except the one person checking us in. We had a person with disabilities and preferred a place with not too many steps and he totally ignored us). It is a complete resort with everything you need in a great area.

Very nice and pleasant stay at Elite hotel. Only stayed for a night but were impresses with it. Nice and cozy rooms, great athmosphere in lobby and super tasty breakfast

Elite City Resort: Staff: friendly, accommodating. Beach: - not private, many locals make use of the loungers, chairs taking up prime spots - no beach restaurant, the food and beverages are brought over from main hotel building - no washroom facility on the beach, quite a lengthy walk back to access a washroom - showers and change room facilities are available on the beach - access to beach via underground tunnel alleviating the need to cross the street - sandy areas around loungers are filled with cigarette butts and trash Hotel Lobby: - great layout with sectional couches and television screens, great views of Messinian Bay - air-conditioning kept on a warmer setting making it uncomfortable during the afternoon - guests allow small children to overtake the main lobby creating a loud, boisterous atmosphere, not conducive to relaxation Dining Facilities: - three outdoor restaurants with fantastic views of Messinian Bay and delicious food - indoor restaurant serves buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner with decent food, but food is cold with flies hovering - indoor bar area has decent drinks and service Guest Rooms: - main building guest rooms are spotless - main building guest rooms need overall upgrading and newer towels, bedding and working TV remotes

Friendly staff in the hotel area , on the beach nod good staff , they are rude,don't know what they doing ,over all the location is good .

The beach area and pool area are amazing. Incredible service, extremely attentive staff, wonderful food and drinks. My main issue with the resort is the cleanliness. We stayed in a villa with our own little outdoor pool and that was all fairly clean. My kids stayed in the main hotel and their room was tiny, uncomfortable and worst of all filthy dirty. Luckily we were all able to spend tons of time outside at the the resorts incredible pool and beach area, and my kids spent most of our downtime at our room. Everyone is super nice, attentive, the food is delicious and served crazy fast!!! I would stay here again, I would just make sure our rooms were cleaned.

Enjoyed our stay in Glyfada at this hotel. The breakfast had enough variety for everyone (including the picky eaters in my family), and was always well prepared. Rooms are a bit tired and carpeted, but very cleanly maintained. Reception area renovated very nicely. Nice pool. Providing a deposit for the towels is a bit inconvenience though. Staff generally very respectful. Hotel is well situated. Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. Within walking distance to beach.

On external appearance this hotel looks great, until we entered the room. The entrance door needed a really tough push to open (I nearly dislocated my shoulder trying to open it). Upon entering, all looked ok until we sat on the bed (two single beds joined together). The bed was so loud ( very squeaky) that I didn't get a full night sleep for our entire stay of three weeks. Every time my husband moved during the night, I think it could have been heard down the corridor. I complained about it to the woman at the front desk for the first three days of our stay. Absolutely nothing was done to rectify the situation. In fact, the blonde woman at reception could be a lot more pleasant to people with a smile from time to time. So I stopped complaining. The bathroom door was also stiff and noisy, so I rectified that problem with a quick spray of my tanning oil. Within one hour of checking in to our room the toilet stopped flushing so we had to wait until the next morning before it could be fixed. In my opinion the whole place is in need of a total renovation as the rooms are quite old. I could go on and on about various other problems, but I won't. On the plus side, our cleaning lady (Cleopatra) was the nicest and most pleasant of all the staff that I encountered during our whole stay. She made sure everything was perfect for us. Breakfast was good with an excellent selection everyday. The beach is located right across the road with plenty of sun lounges and umbrellas.

We spent 3 days here and loved every minute. The hotel, restaurant, staff and rooms were great. The views at sunset from our room were amazing. The town of Kalamata has a wonderful downtown walking shopping area we found and be sure to check the side streets as we found many great little restaurants and shops tucked away.
