Calallonga Hotel Menorca

Soggiorno di 2 settimane in mezza pensione, location cala llonga a 5 min da Mahó: mini struttura in collina a ridosso del mare, composta da pochi appartamentini. Il nostro al secondo piano centrale idi una villetta a schiera a due piani, era composto da ingresso living con divano e maxischermo, camera da letto e bagno entrambe confortevoli e con tutto il necessario in ottime condizioni, aria condizionata efficiente e regolabile con semplicità, cambio biancheria regolare. La struttura è dotata di piscina e ristorante di ottima qualità. Personale qualificato è disponibile, servizio eccellente, ottimo cibo, cucina fresca, scelta da menù alla carta, bevande escluse dal trattamento in mezza pensione. Vista panoramica eccellente sul porto di Mahó, sempre ventilato. Mai avuto necessità di rivolgerci alla reception ! Non siamo amici, parenti o parte del business della struttura. Eli e Piero.

Great location, car hire needed. However, fantastic access to East Coast with AMAZING virgin beaches and coves. We had a picnic on a deserted beach on our last night in Menorca- absolutely fantastic. Other than location, hotel is good- depends on how serious you are about self-catering. If what you want is to eat in restaurants etc. then no problem. if you are into self- catering (which we are) then take with you- all your kitchen essentials- oil, salt, pepper etc. There is a local supermarket at the bottom of the hill BUT beware- it was either a mistake or we were being taken for a ride but the supermarket guy tried to charge us 20 bottles of water- not 1...luckily, because the credit card machine 'failed' someone else checked out before us---and it gave us time to think that 32 EUROS was really a lot for 8 things...other than that, great views across to Mahon/ Es Castelle. Fantastic for Sa Mequida and La Mola. By the way, if you have a car, worth your while going to Ferreries- there is a great restaurant called Vimpi- next to the bus stop- but fabulous tapas!!! Cafe/ restaurant staff ok- Reception staff at the hotel- fabulous- very helpful. All in all, good value for money.

Good hotel - excellent staff, cannot fault. Great view and good room - not 5 star but good value for money. Restaurant was very good, we are there most nights. Breakfast was "ok". Would recommend.

This is a really good all round hotel although car is a must (there's lots of parking). The rooms are very clean with air conditioning throughout and well appointed (if not a little dated). Being an aparthotel, the cooker, kettle, toaster and all of the usual kitchen facilities mean you can eat in of you want to save a few Euros. There is a good selection of toiletries in the bathroom including tissues, razor, toothbrush, along with shampoo, shower gel and body lotion. The on site cafe/bar next to the nice, medium-sized pool is fine and there is a reasonable hot and cold selection for breakfast. There's a small supermarket at the bottom of the hill around one minute walk from the hotel. There's a great little beach a short drive away - half way between the island's capital and the Cala Llomga area.
