La ubicacion es estupenda, el desayuno y la cena son muy variados y de calidad, el personal que te atiende muy amable y profesional. La cama es muy comoda y la tranquilidad del entorno es la que buscabamos.

Echamos de menos que el parador disponga de una sala para poder trabajar en algun momento, los nomadas digitales cada vez somos mas y son muchos los alojamientos que disponen de esta facilidad: Al mismo tiempo siendo Paradores unos establecimientos punteros, adolecen de falta de innovacion por ejemplo en la cafeteria una cocina mas creativa y actual se agradecería , me trajeron un sandwich que hace muchos años no te ofrecen en ningun establecimiento de categoria, penoso.

El edificio es impresionante, antiguo convento con mucho encanto. Instalaciones y trato excelentes. Mucha tranquilidad. La visita guiada incluida muy buena, merece la pena para conocer la historia del lugar.

El precio es algo elevado, en acordancia con un Parador asi. No tomamos el desayuno ni comidas, no puedo opinar sobre ello.

Chambre et parties communes magnifiques. Beaucoup de charme, salle à manger superbe, dîner et petit déjeuner de grande qualité. Très bon rapport qualité prix.

Perfect central location, superb history and ambience to the hotel, lovely big room, excellent breakfast and helpful staff.

The only minus is that the underground parking has a claustrophobic lift for the car on the way in, and tight spaces when parking.

We stayed here as our first stop after arriving into Santander by ferry, travelling by motorcycle, and it turned out to be a fantastic way to start the trip. The building itself is impressive – a former convent, full of character and history. Like many Paradores, it has that “grand but calm” feel, and for the price it represents excellent value. It really set the tone for the rest of our trip. Plasencia itself was also a great place to land. It feels very authentic and not overly touristy, which we particularly liked. The Plaza Mayor had a lovely evening atmosphere with a real mix of locals of all ages, which made it feel genuinely Spanish rather than geared towards visitors. Parking was a real bonus for us travelling by bike. The hotel has secure underground parking directly beneath it, with access via stairs straight up into reception, which made things very easy. There was a slight misunderstanding on the price (we thought it was €10 but it was €18), but that wasn’t an issue. The security and convenience made it well worth it, and we were comfortable leaving some items on the bike. The hotel itself delivers exactly what you’d expect from a Parador – professional service, high standards, and a relaxed but quality feel throughout. Our room was spacious, with thick historic walls and plenty of character, but still comfortable and easy to warm up. We also ate in the restaurant, which was a highlight. Dining in such a historic setting added to the experience, and the food was excellent. The quality was comparable to a much more expensive meal in the UK, but at a very reasonable price. Service was attentive without being over the top. Overall, this was an excellent stay and great value for money. A very strong start to our trip.
