Parador de Hondarribia

Felt like we went back in time. The place is gorgeous and historic.

Parking a car wasn't easy. Had to pay for hotel parking which was 21 Euro a day but was much better than finding paid lot. But that's part of an old town charm so not really a complaint.

View of the harbour, the boats, tides and nearby France are wonderful.

The staff is doing an adequate job of making the customer appreciated but are far from "wowing" the customer. There's a real opportunity to keep growing towards a feeling of "ladies and gentlemen serving ladies and gentlemen." The property and the Parador brand deserve it.

The place was beautiful. But I think the price compared to other Paradores is not justified… also no restaurant in the place and the bar is a tiny hallway in the entrance.

Histórico y muy bien acondicionado. Muy céntrico y cómodo. Personal amable. Buen desayuno.

Le site est magnifique. Un chateau-fort médiéval dans une cité fortifiée très pittoresque et mignonne. Le parador est très bien rénové et c'est impressionnant de voir des murs épais d'un mètre, et les anciennes installations. Il y a des cafés et tapas dans la rue centrale et des restaurants autour du Parador, même en mars. Le petit déjeuner avec son omelette était vraiment très bon.

La chambre n'était pas énorme, mais assez grande pour deux.
