Excellent location. Very good breakfast. Comfortable beds and a good sized room. Great walk in shower, very responsive.

We could hear people in the corridor, perhaps improved soundproofing would be an idea

Camas poderiam ser melhores. A recepcionista da noite parece estar sempre de mal com a vida. Mas é só um detalhe. Não anula a boa estadia

The location was absolutely perfect, with everything near by; main square, station and market around a 7mins stroll. The bars right outside were friendly and well priced, these provided our morning and evening drinks due to the convenience. The welcome from the reception, in particular, Filipe, was outstanding and this continued throughout our stay, he went above and beyond and totally added to the experience of the hotel. The rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable, they were very clean and room service was provided everyday. The breakfast was adequate for our needs, with plenty or seating and friendly staff. They prepared us a breakfast box the day of departure, due to an early start, which was really helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay.

The reception had a very unpleasant smell and got to the point we dreaded walking in, this was mentioned to the staff but they seemed confused about this. (This was restricted to the reception area ONLY) The outlook to our room were walls and windows but this didn’t really affect us too much as we just kept the blinds closed but did mean we didn’t experience day light in the room. The sensors in the hallways were too delayed, meaning we had to walk about 10m in the absolute pitch black but when lit up it was beautifully Styled.
