Château Hôtel Edward 1er

A truly exceptional hotel in every respect that exceeded our expectations and a great credit to the wonderful and charming owners, Isabelle & Michel whose care and passion reflects in the quality of the property. We would also highlight the excellent staff who were very polite and proactive and a credit to the owners. The hotel is beautiful and exceptionally well located, being only a few minutes walk from the medieval market square and within a 30-45 min drive from the main historic towns and markets. The room was fantastic with tea and coffee facilities replenished everyday. Breakfast was a delight with a great range of fresh hot and cold food and drinks The hotel also boasts a restaurant that again exceeded expectations and is located within its own walled garden area. The swimming pool is a great asset to the hotel and a rare feature in the region - the double beds around the pool were a delight.

No stand up shower in our room

A very special place to stay, where the staff couldn't do enough for you. A lovely meal in the restaurant and very close to the square in Monpazier. We will be coming back again.
