"Adequate but dissapointing and unfriendly staff in the restaurant"

A somewhat dated hotel but pleasant enough for a stop over driving north to Calais convenient for the main road.

Sadly one of the reasons we chose this location was because of the restaurant with an outside terrace for dining. We travel with our dog and so to avoid causing any disruption to others we aim to sit outside away from tight corners and busy restaurants. Unfortunately despite the terrrace being open we were told we were unable to sit outside and were instead seated in the main very busy restaurant resulting in a rather rushed one course meal despite other diners being able to sit outside.
