Hôtel Croix des Bretons - Lourdes Pyrénées

I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Croix des Bretons. It would have been great if my room's window is not on the passage where people are passing/walking.

I absolutely love this hotel. It made for a perfect stay for my husband and I in our pilgrimage to the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. The moment that we came in, we were greeted warmly by Francois (who greeted us in Filipino) and Audrey. They gave us two complimentary candles to be used during the Torchlight procession. The room size was just perfect for 2 people. I love the old fashioned key method. Makes for a very secure stay. The proximity of the hotel to the shrine was close enough to get that walk as part of the pilgrimage and, if you happen to just wanna chill and rest before continuing the pilgrimage. Overall, if we am given the chance to visit Lourdes one more time, we will stay here again. God bless…. Charlie and Cecille

This hotel Croix des Bretons is a great place to stay for the following reasons, we stayed here from 3rd September 2025 to 7th September 2025. At the time of booking on a popular hotel website we had put a request for a room on a higher floor and the room should face the entrance of the hotel and we were to arrive after 3pm, and we were delighted because our requests were honored....the owner of this hotel was present at the reception desk when we arrived and he gave us a room on the top most floor 6th floor, room 651, facing the front of the hotel and we got the best views of Lourdes from the hotel window.... to see the Fort in the distance plus the streets and pilgrims walking up and down, and yet our room was silent at night and we got good peaceful sleep on all days. The room has an air conditioner. The owner shared his wonderful experience of his visit to over 4 cities in India of January 2025... these conversations really make the welcome special, he shared with us a new Indian restaurant which was about 300 meters away and we did order good biryanis on 2 occasions from this place. This was our 1st stay at this hotel and our 7th pilgrimage to Lourdes from Bombay Mumbai India 🇮🇳. The breakfast on all days was very good, you can self serve and get eggs boiled, yogurts, 2 type of cakes, 3 types of breads, jams, cheeses, cold cuts, museli, fresh fruits of oranges and apples and canned fruits too, vending machines of milk, tea, coffees, juices, choices of teas and Nescafe to self serve... Good choices to have from... to start your day... the restaurant staff were polite and courteous on all days. Though this hotel is the second building in the street, I feel it's the best setting because you will not get the street noice which is possible on other hotel streets . This hotel is a quick short walk and you reach the Basilica gate. You can take a good walk along the river... few steps away from this hotel. Safe, secure and huge lobby area to settle and chat up with family. We really felt comfortable.

The receptionist was very helpful, moving rooms as required. Staff friendly and breakfast was good. Area very convenient.
