"5 Stars All The Way"

My wife and I stayed here for our first anniversary to visit the vineyards in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The Chateau was beautiful with stunning views. The service was impeccable - very friendly staff who were super helpful. We can't wait to return. :-)

"Chateau in the Vineyard"

Lovely chateau outside of Avignon in the middle of many vineyards!! Beautiful building with lovely decorated rooms. Dinner was excellent with offerings from their vineyard which were excellent. Overall a wonderful experience!

The setting and hotel were exceptional. The view from our room was fabulous. The bathroom was small and the bedding/towels were average. The room was simply but had beautiful furniture and was spacious.The dining experience was good, food great but a little over-priced. The wait staff was ok. When we checked in, there was a lot to take in from a primarily French-speaking receptionist, when my husband asked a question about our stay, she said "I already told you that"! Loved staying here for a quiet get-away.

"Beautiful Chateau-Beautiful Surroundings"

Polite courteous staff in a wonderful location in the heart of Chateauneuf du Pape. The room was nice and clean, but the air conditioning did not work well at all and there was little/no ventilation from the open window. As a result of the stifling heat, we got very little sleep during our one night stay. The continental breakfast was fine, but overpriced. Do to the atmosphere and beautiful surroundings, we'd probably give them another shot on a subsequent trip. Being early in the season, I'm sure they didn't know that the air wasn't functioning properly.

"Beautiful Hotel!"

Hostellerie du Chateau des Fines Roches--easily accessible to beautiful, historic Avignon and the lower Rhone wine region--is an absolutely beautiful place! The staff was incredibly helpful in setting up activities from touring wineries to scheduling massages. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable stay! The food in the restaurant also is divine!
