"Excellent Stay in a Chateau"

Our stay in the Chateau Fine Roches was amazing. To be able to stay so comfortably in such an "ancient" property is truly special. The restaurant was a culinary experience! Our dinners here were so memorable. The attention to detail of the wait staff was excellent and only surpassed by the skill of the chefs in the kitchen. Our only complaint was that the property was difficult to reach without a car. We did not have one and felt disconnected from the town of Chateauneuf Du Pape and Avignon. During the day, the walk to town is enjoyable. At night not so much...Taxi service around CDP is nearly impossible due to the small size of the village. Taxis must come from Avignon, which is 15-20 minutes away.

Le Personnel de l hôtel est vraiment très accueillant, ils se montrent toujours disponible et prennent le temps de discuter avec les clients. L endroit est magnifique, le petit déjeuner est préparé minute à la demande. Je voyage à titre professionnel et j y viendrai dorénavant pour chacune de mes tournées avignonnaise.

The property resembled a medieval castle. It was simply breathtaking. Everything was perfect except the air conditioning system. There was no ac in the reception area and the ac in the room did not cool. It was over 90F.

"Fabulous hotel with wonderful staff "

Fantastic stay! A beautiful hotel with stunning views and the staff were wonderful. All the reception staff could not have done any more to make our stay fabulous. The speed of serving drinks was sometimes a little relaxed, but we were in the South of France so we were relaxed about it too and the staff were so friendly that it made up for any minor slowness. It was only a 20 minute stroll into town through the vineyards or a very short taxi ride away in the evening. I can’t recommend this place highly enough.
