Hotel Resort & Spa Baia Caddinas

Money hungry. Our flights got cancelled and they refused to refund the one night we were not able to be there. Also tried to charge us for parking when we never used their garage. Never again.

The hotel has very nice and beautiful facilities. The private beach is really beautiful. The little patio at night with entertainment playing is really soothing.

Expected a better breakfast. The smell of gas in the kitchen is disturbing.

Breakfast was great - hotel was nice but more of a high 3 star. There was no wifi in the rooms which was pretty shocking …

This place it's worth it's money. I only went thinking it was just expensive but when talking with the receptionists (very kind) they explained all the activities included like bicicles, tours, the private beach, kids activities, etc. The place looks and feels fancy, the beach is beautiful. The rooms are large and comfortable, i was lucky to have a nice view of the gardens, i bet the beach views are insane. Everybody was nice to us even tho our italian wasn't very good, they even let us try! I want to come back to this hotel for sure.

Just a bad restaurant situation. We had issues understanding the dinner appointments and reservations of the restaurant in the hotel, so we went without one just to ask if there was a table abailable that night. One of the guys serving told us to sit even tho it was about to close the kitchen, that we still had time. As soon as we sat there there was a boss, i think? yelling to the workers because they letted us sit, and talked like we didn't understand italian (we do) or made implications. On top of that we were charged an extra for not having a reservation. It was a missunderstaning but i hated the way employees were treated and in public. This "boss" person was very unkind and made us feel guilty for consuming there or even asking anything. Again, we were told to sit and that we still had time to enjoy the restaurant. Just make your reservations or don't go.

A great place for families with small children, with a very nice garden, pools, and beach. The breakfast is delicious, with a large selection, the restaurant opposite the hotel is recommended for lunch and dinner if you don't want to make a reservation at the hotel. The staff is kind and helpful. Children's programs, the playhouse is open all day, so parents also have time to relax. Dolphin watching program with motorboat can be booked in the garden, good program with children.

An outdoor towel and cold water upon arrival would have been nice for a four-star hotel. The beach of the hotel is not bad, but there are much nicer beaches in Sardinia than the beach of the hotel, so you don't have to look for them here.

Beautiful spot, lovely Hotel. You won’t regret staying here. The rooms were large, the staff were awesome Big thank you to Laura who spoke great English and assisted us with everything we needed and one of the best customer service persons I have had. Also to the head life guard at the beach very helpful and spoke English which helped as well for us.

The only thing for us was the air conditioning in our room did not work well and is very old. Time for an upgrade

The hotel is beautiful and basically right on the beach. The review should be a 10/10 but there are too many things to improve. Here are my suggestions; - Renovate the old rooms, the drain smells in the rooms - Teach the staff English - Better variety in the breakfast - Every day, have “Happy hour” in the bar, “1 hour a day half price” could possibly increase your sale with 200% in the bar. Right now it’s extremely overpriced. - Build your own mini market next to the hotel or in the hotel. Right now it’s too far away in the hills. - Have dance shows or other singers not only the male singer every night. - Stabilize your WiFi because now it basically didn’t work at all. - Include a’la carte menu in the restaurant. Not only a buffet for 45 euro /person.

Our studio apartment was below average. The view was upon other cabins old rooftops full of bird poop. The matras and bed are very hard and give my wife and I backaches. The interior is overall out dated and substandard. Our request for another room was delayed, and after 4,5 days of our week stay, we were offered a hotel room for the remaining 2 full days at an extra cost of €200. There was no room for negotiation and the service desk employees were friendly but short in communication. They didn't seem to grasp our complaints, nor were there suggestions to address our issues. The services are plain and for every little service, no matter how trivial, you need to pay extra. Parking costs €14/day, breakfast is €14 p.p. per day, if not included in your package, washing machine is €4 per wash and €2 soap per wash, located underground in the dark, stuffy garage. Just some examples of paying extra for almost everything, just like a cheap low cost carrier i.e. Ryanair and paying (a lot) for everything extra. Outside the pool and beach area is nice, but crowded. Thankfully, after 2 days, we got 2 beach beds with umbrella on the beach for the remainder of our stay, instead of far back on the lawn on the pool side. There is very little to do in the neighborhood, so lot's of quiet. A car is necessary to visit other locations, usually within a 20-30 mins drive.
