The key pad entry to the room

I believed the accommodation i booked was a hotel but it was more "bedrooms above a pub". There was a pub smell through out. As a female travelling for a conference, I did not feel comfortable staying here unfortunately. When I asked about off street parking, the staff suggested that I park in the beer garden if there was space. The room was very small, basic, grim and extremely disappointing. The window did not close properly, furniture was tired and worn looking, only one plug worked so I had to change between the kettle, the TV and charging my phone. The shower was very small and very little power in it.

Friendly and welcoming staff, nice lively bar downstairs, great coffee with the included breakfast which was lovely. Felt like a very charming, old school accomodation

Curtain rail was broken and held together with some sellotape which gave way when we opened the drapes lol
