Quattro Torra Residenza d'Epoca

We stayed in the 2 room apartment which was perfect for our family of four. Just a short drive from Sienna. The views from the castle were breathtaking. Breakfast was nice.

Do it. Trust me! Great time. Nice place, lovely breakfast, great wifi, nice view in the towers. I stayed in the blue room. Loved it. I'm now sending my parents here next year.

Super Super special for anyone looking for a place that is interesting and unusual. Nicola our host engaging, friendly and interesting. Cooking classes at farmhouse a must. Views from room 3 wonderful. A must stay. 10 minute drive to siena. Need to be able to walk up a few stairs!

This is a great place to stay if you enjoy castles. It is very close to Siena by car (about 5 minutes away). There are great views of the surrounding vineyards and of Siena from the castle. Our host Nicola was extremely helpful and gave us great tips on where to go and great directions.

Quattro Torra was our home in Tuscany for 8 days and it was the best part of a fabulous vacation. The hosts Nicola and Laura ware freindly and very helpful. The breakfasts in the private dining room each morning was delightful and our hosts were eager to help with any questions, directions or assistance we might need. Most of the time we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The castle is beautiful and the area is gorgeous, even in December. The place is maintained incredibly well. If you're looking for 5 star comfort, convenience, full service staff, and resort-type amenities find another location. If you want someplace quiet and serene that is historic and beautiful with a relaxing atmosphere there's no place better. There are a lot of stairs. No elevators in the 13 century and it would be a violation to the architecture and atmosphere to add one. I wouldn't change a thing about the place!

This is a great bed and breakfast outside the walls of Siena. Be sure you let them know before you arrive...after all it is a castle and they won't hear you if you knock! The views are spectular and the atmosphere is charming. I would suggest having a rental car with you during your stay.

The stay at the Four Towers was a major highlight of our vacation in Italy. After driving down the Chianti Trail all day, with the sun close to the horizon, we topped a hill, and there is was, about the most enchanting place you could possibly stay in Tuscany. The accommodations where plain (antique-ish), but the midevil feel of the castle trumps everything. It was April, cool and green for as far as the eye could see. Opening the windows in the morning displayed fog-covered, rolling hills. The surrounding olive trees were being trimmed. We asked, and were given a lesson in the proper way to trim an olive tree. Nicola, our host, was a charming Italian man with doable English. He was walking up from the fields as we drove up the cypress-lined road to the castle. Don't expect the Ritz-Carlton here, it is a 13th century castle! Castello delle Quattro Torra was an experience my wife and I will never forget. This is why I came to Italy!!!!
