Aston Hotel

Room - clean, nice, BIG, perfect bed (I like not soft ones). PERFECT is socket near the bed (how many hotels have just socket for lamp , but not this one). Reception, Breakfast.

What is not best option is that restaurant directly in the hotel is just for lunch (except breakfast), so it closes I think at 1500. This means that you have to go somewehere "near by". But really close are several restaurants with perfect Pizza, Meat, Chinese etc... so it is bad not to have food in the hotel, but it is very close another possibility.

Very friendly employees. Nice big rooms Bathroom is ok, just that the shower cabin should be a bit bigger. Tv should be also a bit bigger, as it is quite difficult to watch from bed. As conclusion, is a very good option for short/business staying.

Used to be my usual hotel for business trips to Bratislava. Reasonable price, not very crowded, situated in the middle of nowhere, but dinner in the hotel restaurant used to be fair. Arrived there recently. Hotel is becoming a bit worn out, you can see that carpets are becoming sort of tired. Rooms are still Ok, pretty big, standard equipment, good bed. My bad surprise happened at the hotel restaurant. I arrived there at some 8:05 pm, looking forward to some small meal and beer. Waiter informed me that kitchen is already closed. As I said, situated in the middle of nowhere, it was raining outside so searching around for a restaurant did not sound as great idea. We were there a small group, so we ordered a beer, than another one...and than waiter asked for the last order as the restaurant closes at 9 pm. He suggested we can buy bottled beer at the reception... Well, after spending several hours driving I want to have reasonable meal and few beers. So I will have to find some other hotel, either with open restaurant or at least as nice part of the city with restaurants around. Pity.

We had spent 2 nights in this hotel in Sep 2017. We had a great big room, very very comfortable bed and very clean bathroom. It has been an amazing experience as we were travelling with our 2yo son, and he really liked the room and the bed. This is the place where we'll go next time when we check-in to Bratislava. PS: close to the airport ( it's a plus )
