The Siam Residence Boutique Resort

Hotel was lovely. Staff amazing and could not do enough for us. The only down side was the beach. The sand was black and bog like in places when the tide went out

I chose the resort deliberately as I wanted to stay somewhere quiet by the beach. The room was cleaned daily, the paintwork and walls could do with a bit of tidying up, and the shower needs modernising but all in all I liked the accommodation. As there are only 8 bungalows there isn’t a mad rush for sunloungers or any of the other stuff bag happens at larger hotels. The staff were very helpful, although sometimes due to the language barrier I had some frustrating conversations about the WiFi going down ( they kept trying to give me the password instead of looking at the modem). The food and treatments are more expensive, it’s a resort so that’s to be expected. There is a 7 eleven at the corner of the main road if you need to stock up on supplies. I used the transfer service a few times to the neaby town but soon realised if I walked to the main road I could get a taxi cheaper each way. If you are looking for a nice quiet resort I would highly recommend, perhaps hire a car or moped to get out and about. It’s rougly 40 mins from the airport so also worth booking your own transfer ( not via the resort as they massively overcharge)

Wirklich sehr schönes Hotel mit grossen Suiten. Die Angestellten sind stets freundlich und zuvorkommend! Der Strand ist gepflegt und der Pool ist sauber und gross genug, um darin zu schwimmen. Mit dem Roller ist man in wenigen Minuten in Nathon. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder in dieses Hotel gehen, wenn wir nochmals nach Samui reisen! Sehr empfehlenswert!

From the minute I arrived to the minute I left I was made to feel extra special, cold towel, juice on arrival, great, the staff make this place the experience of a lifetime, along with the quiet location and wonderful outlook and vicinity to the beach. Thank you Jan and the staff for a special week to celebrate a birthday where nothing was too much effort, or trouble and everything was done with a smile, even from the special furry staff who really take their role of security and just being there so serious. I will be back to experience more of the same in the not too distant future, an excellent find, shame we have to share our enjoyable experiences with others as I want it all too myself :)

Nach der Begrüßung ging es in den geräumigen und sehr gut ausgestatteten Gartenbungalow. Sauberkeit und Qualität lassen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr gepflegt und das durchweg freundliche Personal strahlt Lebensfreude und Spaß am Service aus. Die Menschen in diesem Ressort machen ihren Job gut und gerne. Der Pool ist groß und liegt wunderbar inmitten von Bungalows, Bäumen und Palmen. Der vordere Garten und der Strand stellen das eigentliche Refugium des Hauses dar. Dort morgens in aller Ruhe nur 10m entfernt vom Meer zu frühstücken hat etwas besinnliches und erhebendes zugleich, sogar der Kaffee schmeckt einfach gut. Es findet sich auch immer ein schattiges Plätzchen unter den Bäumen. Erfrischungen werden jederzeit serviert, stets in bester Qualität und von sehr freundlichen Mitarbeitern. Aufgrund der geringen Anzahl von Häusern entsteht eine persönliche Beziehung, fast ein familiärer Charakter. Der Hotel-Manager geht mehrmals am Tag auf die Gäste zu und fragt ob alles zur Zufriedenheit verläuft. Er kommt auch mit Motorrad zum Pier, wenn man bei der Abreise etwas vergessen hat. Großartig. Eine dicke Empfehlung für Leute, die relaxen und chillen wollen. Nichts und niemand hindert einen daran und man kann sich verwöhnen lassen...

Schöne Anlage in einer ruhigen, sicheren Gegend. Die Bungalow sind neu renoviert und sehr geräumig aber nicht immer praktisch eingerichtet. Sehr aufmerksames, freundliches Personal. Wunderschön ist das Morgen- und Abendessen direkt am Strand. Abends mit der untergehenden Sonne! Der Strand ist gut geeignet für Familien mit Kinder. Leider ist das Meer hier nicht so tief und das Schwimmen macht nicht so Spass. Wer Ruhe sucht ist hier sicher am richtigen Ort. Man ist abseits von "Ramba-Zamba"

The staff and grounds of the Siam Residence were AMAZING. This is a very quiet part of Koh Samui and not in the middle of it all, which is exactly what we wanted. This small 8-villa resort had a restaurant, pool, and beach or room massages. The beach is not super swimmable though some people went out. They have kayaks and a SUP to use for free. Though the massages are more expensive than finding a street vendor (as expected), it was in a glass enclosure on the beach and offered a beautiful ambience. Our room also came with a massage table if we wanted one in our room. The staff had us memorized from our first drink order. They also gave out a local cell phone so that way you could reach the hotel or the manager in the event of an emergency which we did experience. My boyfriend and I unfortunately had a small accident on one of their scooters they rented us and had to go to the local hospital. They sent a car to pick us up from the location (and got the scooter towed), accompanied us to the hospital, assisted greatly in translating, paid our medical bill (which we paid later on our hotel bill) and drove us back. I cannot say how their kindness and professionalism helped to calm us and make us feel ok. I would totally recommend this resort.

Manager Jan was excellent. Staff were kind and served us well. Room was big and comfortable.

Top service. Great food abd excellent environment. Spacy beautiful bungalows and huge pool in a wonderful garden. This helped to soothen the frustrations of too much monsoon rain. Great place to relax!
