The Siam Residence Boutique Resort

This is an exceptional resort with so many attributes - the rooms are spacious and well conceived. The pool area is superb. A private stretch of beach with both bar and restaurant offering delicious and beautifully presented food and drinks. The staff are genuinely warm and incredibly attentive. It has been a joy to stay here

The only criticism was the beach during January being littered with sea debris but this cannot be helped by the hotel but is worth bearing in mind if you do stay here during these tidal events. The staff clear and maintain the beach throughout the day to try to mitigate this.

- large inviting pool and great cocktails. - superfriendly staff. Always with the biggest smile. - large cottages with plenty of sanitary.

- the AC outside units are noisy. Our bedroom was next to the AC of our neighbours (who had it switched on day and night). It was just too loud. - the entire place could use a refurbishment giving it again a more modern look and feel. - I asked 3 days in a row to rent a motorbike but there were never any available. As the location is remote, not having own transportation is a problem.

Very well kept resort. Well maintained garden and nice beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Kitchen was exceptional especially Thai chicken satay!!

Spacious villas

Run down bathroom, doors in villa didn’t close. Poor atmosphere in the room

Staff are friendly and very helpful. They go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. They gave us a lift in the hotel car to the local shops to buy provisions that we needed after the airline lost our luggage. They were so kind. We only had a 1 night stopover but I would definitely stay here again for longer.

Very relaxing place to stay in Koh Samui. Quiet end of Lipa Noi beach. Staff went above and beyond to make you feel at home. Food was outstanding. It was the perfect place to unwind on holiday.

Centre part of beach was quite run down which was sad.

Is was close to the ferry terminal.

Rooms look old and tired with a lot of wasted space. Toilets and shower cubicle were surprisingly small. Beach is not the best and far from ideal for swimming due to the shallows which extend far out from the beach. One choice of fish only for dinner which was surprising, however I did enjoy the meal with the exception of the desert. Hotel gave the impression of a business preparing for foreclosure.

The staff at the restaurant were incredible. We were so happy to see them each day. The room is huge and the beach was beautiful.

There's not much in the area, but if you want a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of samui, this is a great place!
