Château des Avenieres

Very nice Chateau with modern and clean rooms. Walking between the main castle and the house with hotel rooms is a bit inconvenient but ok. The restaurant for dinner was busy and perhaps under-staffed. We experienced quite a wait to order and I had to ask literally 5-times to get a bottle of water. The food was good and the waiters were generally nice.

Es war alles, wirklich alles super. Paar Stunden nach dem check out wurde mir alles was ich von der Mini Bar konsumiert habe, einfach von den Kreditkarte abgebucht. Es stand nirgendwo, dass der Inhalt von der Mini Bar kostenpflichtig ist😡. Schade, dass ihr damit alles kaputt gemacht hat. Ich würde es wegen dem für niemanden empfehlen. Abzockerei😡😡😡

Exceptional property and staff and delicious dining. The breakfast must not be missed! Wonderful accommodating staff. I wish we could have stayed longer.

Très bel établissement avec personnel aux petits soins. La table est excellente et bon rapport qualité prix. Manque cependant un jacuzzi dans l’espace détente

Suite magnifique mais manquait un petit coin salon vu le prix … mais se fut agréable d’avoir une terrasse même si le temps n’a pas permis de voir la vue.

Very nice hotel in a beautiful location with stunning views. Friendly and welcoming staff. A good restaurant showcasing local produce. A good breakfast is available also.

If we could give 100 stars we would. This chateau, the staff, dining and amenities are all hidden gems in the countryside outside of Annecy. From the time of check in to the check out, everyone was helpful and pleasant. The staff at the restaurant were fantastic and offered great recommendations. If you are questioning whether or not to book; do it and do not hesitate. You will surely regret if you don’t stay and one night is most definitely not long enough.

The entire place is enchanting. We had a great stay. The breakfast buffet was incredible… made my wife cry, literally. We’ll have to come back.
