Hotel Casablanca City Center

The room was dirty and smelled bad. There was no toilet paper, no towels, no soap, no shampoo, and no toilet brush in the bathroom. The room was extremely cold, with no heating system, and the window could not be fully closed, so cold air kept coming in while I was sleeping. Several light bulbs were not working, which made the room very dark. There was construction work going on in two rooms opposite mine, and a lot of dust was coming into my room because of it. I only stayed for one night and ended up booking another place instead. I went to the reception and asked if my room could be changed. The receptionist told me to wait and that she would sort it out, but after speaking with another older woman, I was informed that they were fully booked and could not change my room. This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed in. I would never recommend it to anyone.

The only positive side is the shops and markets around. The lady cleaning our room was very friendly.

- Dirty sheets, everything white was yellowish. Rooms very small and the way the beds were displayed was very weird. - Lack of maintenance, many doors were left hanging. Shower very small and uncomfortable. - The doorman doesn't help opening the door. In fact, the same doorman is the one serving beverages. His role is still not clear in my head. - I struggled to get the wifi signal on the 5th floor. Asked several times at the reception. They told me they would fix it. At some point I decided to get my SIM card and get my own internet. - Sometimes we didn't have water in the shower. It happened to us early in the morning and late at night. - I asked for a kettle and a fridge. The kettle was full of scale, and dirty, showing obvious lack of maintenance.
