Hotel Ivan

We arrived and the room we had booked was not avalible. The staff had to translate because their horrible boss couldnt speak english, he was so rude to us you cant imagine. Instead he offered us a really small room with a bed for one, we were two. Ended up with a little bit bigger dirty room and had to pay 300 euros extra. The breakfast was like one or non-star level. One type of snowwhite bread, tomatoes and cold scrambled eggs. Unfortunaly not a hotel to recomend, but croatia is on the otherhand beautiful and we spend our last days at another hotel.

Definetly ont a 4 star hotel. They probably put their stars by them selfs, it is more like a 2 stars hotel. We had 2 dirty balconys whitout furniture, the kitchenett had no cooking ware at all. The pool was not very clean and there were hardly any sunbeds. It was very close to the board walk(strandpromenad).

Hotel muito bem localizado. Fica a 3 min do pier onde tem tudo em Bol. O hotel tem piscina, conforto, cafe da manha muito bom. Atendimento excelente dos funcionarios.

Vi hade rum mot baksidan som inte var renoverade och väl enkla och slitna. Framförallt badrummen. Basic frukost men helt ok. Bra service och gästvänlighet. Till exempel lät de oss använda terrassen för att ordna egen stor familjemiddag på terrassen tillsammans med personer som inte bodde på hotellet. Fint läge I gamla stan men backe upp till hotellet, att tänka på om svårt att gå.

A nice and quiet place to stay, near city only a few minutes walk. Breakfast is ok, no more than that, but you get started. The staff is nice and do their best fore you. Pool was clean and large enough. We had a twinn rom with 6 beds, perfect fore us a family of 5. Good value fore your money, I would come back.

Hotel Ivan was in a beautiful location, excellent value for money. Very quiet but close to the bars and restaurants.

Loses marks for a pool which should have been far cleaner looking. A kettle in the room really should be provided also. That said, the location is brilliant, the staff are friendly, aircon & wifi are good and very decent sized rooms. The view from our room was stunning.

Break fast was a horrible. Double room meant 1 double bed and 1 chair apps. That charged double room. 4 stars hotels? I don't think so. I have no star.

The rooms, location, and atmosphere were great, but the hotel owner was not welcoming and seemed to have no hospitality. Dinners were poor and we decided to eat out some of the nights, but were not credited for the meals as promised.

This hotel is clearly not worth the money. What we bought was a room for 4 persons with A/C, including breakfast and dinner (the meal options cannot be removed). What we got was: - room size was OK and it was clean - in our room (number 25) we had a view over the parking lot, i.e. we did not use the balcony. - the A/C was not powerful at all, and could not cool down the room. There was a sign above the A/C stating "complaints are not accepted about the A/C if the balcony doors are open". We had the balcony doors closed for 24 hours, but the room still had the same temperature as outside. - The quality of the dinner was not very good, and the same dinner was served twice during a 5-day period. Dinner was often french fries with either grilled chicken, grilled pork, grilled fish or square type of meatballs. Could be OK, but the meat was not from the best pieces of the pork, the fish was not the best fish etc. We chose to eat at restaurants in town after having tried two dinners. - Breakfast consisted of youghurt (not everyday), cheese (not everyday), ham, marmelade, coffee, tea, chocolate drink, bread, cereals, egg, scrambled egg(not every day), boiled sausages, pancake (not every day), and lemonade (not juice). Perhaps a fruit as well. This might sound like a quite decent breakfast, BUT... the coffee and chocolate was powder to pour into warm water, cutlery and youghurt and milk which should be cold was room temperatured, there was only one type of bread, the sausages were probably the same sausages offered every day as noone ate them, and the juice was lemonade and not juice. We complained about the A/C and also about the bad view we had froom our room which made the balcony unusable. They did not understand our complaints about the A/C, and the view of the balcony is something we should accept according to the hotel. They offered a more expensive room instead, but we did not want to spend any extra money on the hotel. The hotel and its owner only offers the minimum they can and charge you as much as they can. NOT WORTH THE MONEY!
