El hostel queda en una zona en donde la droga y gente durmiendo en la calle es moneda corriente. Toda la zona tiene olor a baño público, los drogadictos hacen sus necesidades (todas) en la vía pública y es un asco. Además de que no te sientes para nada seguro. Algunas personas que están en la calle te gritan y temes que te agredan además físicamente. Tuve que utilizar taxis o Uber el tiempo que me hospede allí. Lo pasé tan mal que me fui antes de que finalizará el periodo reservado. Además, las instalaciones de las habitaciones son sucias y las camas nada cómodas. El hostel no tiene cocina para poder utilizarlo, y mucha gente vive en las habitaciones, así que tampoco tienes lugar disponible en el refrigerador de la habitación. En la descripción menciona que hay disponibilidad de un lugar para desayunar y una toalla, pero en mi caso no me dieron toalla al hacer el check in y tampoco estaba en la habitación/cama. El "desayuno" es solo un café americano muy muy flojo (casi sin sabor), si hay disponibilidad de leche o opciones de te. Solo una vez vi que hayan ofrecido manzanas.. Todo ha sido una gran decepción

This is a music themed hostel that has a venue, rehearsal studios, and a bar adjoining it. If that wasn't enough, they have a San Francisco Music Hall of Fame onsite, that works as a walking tour in the hostel hallways -- whoah! ( And I have been to R&R HOF in Cleveland and this actually does a pretty damn good job!) The rooms are a good size, and they have "pod" bunks set up(+ which are on the larger size ) that offer lighting, power, and privacy

So why the "disappointing" rating? Because while it works as a great little boutique hotel for up-and-coming museos(and any looking for a cheap place to crash) , it doesn't work as a hostel. Common areas, kitchen, community, outings -- none of that stuff to meet fellow travelers. With the pod setup, you're on your own. A big problem occurred when one of my 3 4, or 5(?) roommates decided to put the padlock on the door, locking me and another guest out of the room late at night. We no idea why our keys would not work, knocking on the door didnt help(@3am) and there was no onsite reception or security. Long story short, management came onsite and eventually got us in. Management did make amends, but the experience was kinda scarring.I just can't put myself in that kind of situation when travelling solo.

For damn near $70 the bed I was in wasn’t even comfortable …the person I shared a room with decided to regulate me and tell me not to smoke in the room like I’m some kind of incompetent person I know people of certain ethnicities LOVE to stay telling people that looks like me what to do, I looked at her retarded ass and told her I do know how to follow rules you ain’t my damn Mammy and I know we can’t smoke in here I’m not ignorant, the Motel advertised a restaurant and bar but it wasn’t available but I seen staff go behind the counter to fix them something I feel for the price and the staff not providing what the advertised it was a bit much and if we are sharing a room with other guest they need to stay in their gotdayum place and not say a muthafuckn word I was looking forward to taking advantage of the VIP discount at the bar and restaurant but couldn’t even do that so I ended up ordering from WHOREDASH spending more money than I intended I was shitty about shelling out damn near $70 for the room I reserved

I like the music and the gaming room

I didn’t like when I had took a shower and when I got done with the shower, the water wouldn’t go there and I told the front desk about my concerns with that & I didn’t feel welcomed at all.
