Bed uncomfortable - mattress a bit hard for us. Small living area especially if the weather isn’t good. Orange street light cam in through front glass door which needs a curtain. Dog barking in the night did disrupt our sleep. Very steep access to property - drive and walk so beware - it was fine for us though.

GBWe loved the beautiful cottage, gardens and views. It is very comfortable here and we felt at ease as soon as we arrived. The family are kind and friendly. We even got a gifted a slice of freshly baked homemade carot and orange cake. Delicious! We would love to stay longer and will definitely return one day 😊

NPGBBeautiful view from our apartment in a beautiful setting. Best view you could imagine from our private balcony overlooking banana plants and the sea. Very nice room in our apartment equipped with everything we needed for a self-catered stay.The family that run this accommodation are lovely and make you feel at home. We were even brought fresh cake during our stay. You are given a true rural feel of Madeira. The accommodation feels remote however it is only a short walk to a supermarket and restaurant. You will need a car here to go elsewhere however as you are quite high up. We had not realised this so luckily we're able to extend our car hire booking.
There was a noisy dog living nearby so I had to wear earplugs at night as I am a light sleeper
HUThe family is extremely nice and helpful, the garden and the view is exeptionaly beautiful, our apartment were very cozy and convenient with a balcony and a small, private part of the garden, too.
