La Neffola Residence

Todella kiva ja viihtyisä huoneisto aivan Corso Italian lähettyvillä! Huoneisto oli tilava ja erittäin rauhallinen, vaikka talon kaikissa huoneistoissa oli majoittujia. Talo, jossa huoneistot sijaitsevat, on leirintäalueen toisessa päässä, omassa rauhassaan. Vieressä oli sitruunapuita. Leirintäalueen henkilökunta oli todella ystävällistä ja kertoivat meille tulopäivänä oikoreitit rantaan ja kylään. Allasalue leirintäalueen puolella on huoneiston käytössä. Rantaan oli kävelymatka. Huoneiston sijainti on todella hyvä!

Alue ja allas on suhteellisen pieni, mutta hyvin sinne mahtui päivittäin. Iso allas on aika syvä, 2m joka kohdasta, joten ei sovellu uimataidottomille lapsille. Lastenallaskin oli 80cm syvä. Huoneiston mukavuuksissa mainitaan ilmastointi, mutta kyseessä ei ollut ilmalämpöpumppu, jota olisi itse voinut säätää. Huoneistossa oli makuuhuoneessa iso, kiinteä ilmastointilaite, joka oli pikemminkin tuuletin, joka piti ilmaa kiertämässä. Siitä pystyi säätämään ainoastaan tuuletuksen tehokkuutta, ei lämpötilaa.

Location was great, 5 min walk into Sorrento centre.

Too loud. The property attached to us is owned by an elderly lady who has failing hearing. Her TV was at max volume and left to play overnight. I told Neffola and they did not respond. We didn’t sleep well for 4 nights. I knocked on her door to ask her to turn down the volume but she could not understand us, despite me using a translation service. Could not recommend staying here based on that noise.

The apartment we stayed in is part of an old residence that has been converted beautifully for holiday stays. The rooms were big and airy and well appointed, we also found the beds very comfortable. The grounds of La Neffola also have many other buildings, lodges and spaces for camping and motorhomes but it is all well spaced out and feels very quiet and private. The lemon and orange trees and other beautiful plants are beautiful to walk around. The pool was divine and never too busy. We loved the shortcut down to Sorrento beach, it is also really easy to get to Sorrento town, just a five minute walk to beautiful shops and restaurants. I would happily stay here again.

The air conditioning in our apartment was a little weak but still just about cooled the rooms to a decent temperature.

What a cool spot. Easy walking distance to everything. Felt like we were staying in our own castle.
