Villa Moretti

We had a very warm welcome at Villa Moretti. Emilia was very helpful throughout our stay and made it feel more than a hotel. in particular we loved the open veranda outside our rooms which was a lovely cool space for a cup of tea or one occasion a picnic lunch.

Very convenient location on Ciovo island, just 100m from the bridge to Trogir. One of 5 rooms in an old Palace. Room very comfortable. If you like fish, be sure to try the Barba restaurant on the mainland!

Villa Moretti is a charming, quaint hotel that is full of history and comfort. Our room was wonderfully appointed with antique furniture and a wonderfully comfortable king sized bed! The room is clean, comfortable and cool. The building is well maintained and simply delightful, with a balcony on the top floor where you can have a wonderful breakfast, with a variety of fruit, bread, meats and hot items like eggs and bacon. The view of Trogir is top notch! Villa Moretti made our visit to Croatia a delightful memory! The owner, Emilia, is very responsive and helpful in planning activities and tours, and made our stay carefree.

The owners were lovely, our room was clean, the breakfast was delicious and served on a beautiful deck overlooking the water.

We stayed at the Villa Moretti for seven nights and what a wonderful place! It is a lovely historic hotel of only 5 bedrooms, beautifully located on the harbourside in Trogir. Our rooms were spacious and spotlessly clean and well-appointed with lovely old-style furniture. Emilia is the perfect hostess providing us with a warm welcome and with fantastic breakfasts on the terrace with fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals, eggs, meat, cheese, bread and preserves. She is a mine of information on the local area and nothing is too much trouble. There is free parking available and its only a few minutes walk into the old town with its stunning sights and restaurants. Very highly recommended.
