Die Betten - das heißt: Die Matratzen - waren gut, und wir haben recht gut geschlafen.

Wo soll ich beginnen? Zunächst der Name: Bei einem „Parkhotel“ benannten Hotel erwartet man natürlich eine Lage im Grünen oder Nahe eines Parks. Dieses Hotel liegt in einer Strasse mit älteren, schmucklosen Häusern und schmutzigen Fassaden. Das Hotel selbst ist deutlich in die Jahre gekommen, und das als „hervorragendes“ Frühstücksbüfett gepriesene Angebot ist an Lieblosigkeit und Einfachheit nur schwerlich zu überbieten: Aufbackbrötchen, billige Marmelade aus Spendern, wo man sich fragt, wie lange sie sich wohl schon darin befindet, billiger Aufschnitt, kein Toastbrot, totgekochte Eier - einfach schade und für den Preis viel zu einfach. EUR 80,00 inkl. Frühstück wären angemessen gewesen.
