"Nice base for cinque terre"

This is a very basic hotel to use as a base for cinque terre sightseeing. My single room had an adequate double sized bed, an ample closet and a tiny desk. The bathrooms are very tiny but about on par for hotels in Italy and Europe. The toiletries were quite meager as well. However, all this was perfectly fine for me as I mainly wanted a hotel to base myself off of for exploring cinque terre. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the train station and it takes about 10 minutes to get to the first town of the cinque terre(riomaggiore). This hotel is also near a pedestrian walkway where you can find shops and convenience stores. All in all, a very adequate hotel, that was quite clean, and if you just need to rest your head this would be perfect. Also great is the included breakfast- very nice to have that in the a.m.before all the hiking!

"The best budget hotel that we've ever stayed in."

Our entire experience at the hotel was fantastic! Everything about the place was great: the staff, the room, the food. No complaints whatsoever. We highly recommend this place to everyone!

"worst breakfast"

The hotel looked dated. The rug covering the stairs were filthy, thankfully our room and the bathroom were acceptable. Breakfast was the worst we've had on our 3 week trip. The breakfast offerings were at least a day old, what was supposed to be warm were cold. Proprietor was late in waking up (breakfast was supposed to start at 7 and there were people already waiting by the door)), it took her only 10 minutes to set up, that's how I know that the breakfast offerings were at least a day old.

"Wonderful Staff and amazing breakfast!"

Our room was very modern and recently refurbished - colour scheme was very chic! Comfortable bed but having said that the room was a little tight for two people and luggage. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was magnificent! Couldn't recommend it highly enough!

"Good"

Will never happen again. The Hotel is not clean enough The Bath rooms are very very small water all over the floor when you shower Is unbelivable and price is not cheap she charge too much for that dump

"10min walk from rail. Central to town."

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Three of us shared a room. Bathroom needed makeover which staff told us was going to happen. Pleasant courtyard to relax in. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful in very clean dining room.

"Cinque Terre region on a budget"

The included breakfast was DELICIOUS and very generous. Staff were lovely and helpful. Within wallking distance of train station, harbor, and large outdoor market.

"Such a friendly gem!"

The new managers at the hotel were very warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to help me. I was in one of the newly renovated rooms, which I found to be perfectly comfortable. I would highly recommend staying here!

"Good base for Cinque Terre"

Friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast. Decor and condition of interior has seen better days. Fair location. La Spezia is fairly small, so not too far to anywhere.
