Amazingly beautiful hotel, wow! It has this super nice authentic vibe and the monastery is just plain gorgeous. The pool is excellent and you can get drinks from the bar and take them to the pool or to one of the many tables around the property. There was also the opportunity to have your own bbq, as the hotel has 7 grills available free of charge. They will put on the cozy lights for you and you can have a BBQ with the beautiful Tuscan hills in the background. Rooms are spacious and clean, bed was comfy, AC worked perfectly for the hot summer nights. Would definitely come back here if I find myself in Tuscany again!

The landscape was beautiful. You can have dinner outside in the yard when you ask for it. With an amazing view.

Some of the photos have not been up to date. Especially our kid was a bit sad that there was no diving board at the pool as shown in the pictures. The pool seems bigger in the pictures. We arrived 2 hours earlier then check in and had to come back later. There was not even an option to wait at the pool area or at the restaurant.

Lejligheden var nedslidt og ikke særlig ren. Tjeneren i restauranten var sur og det tog 1,5 time at få vores mad, så vi spiste først kl 22.30.

Windows didn't have mosquito nets

Trevligt lantligt ställe i Toscana. Bra utgångspunkt med 20 min till Siena t.ex. Fantastisk omgivning. Frukost väldigt bra. Restaurangen måste absolut prövas. Många viner och väldigt bra priser.

Städarna missade vårt rum under vistelsen men det gjorde inte så mycket.

unfortunately we found the condition of the apartment to be quite below our expectations, especially considering the price point. When we arrived, the apartment was not properly cleaned. Several utensils and glasses were visibly dirty, and some still had wine residue in them. Under the beds, there was a considerable amount of dust and dirt. Additionally, one of the bathrooms had no hot water, and the shower was broken, which created some inconvenience. Another major issue was the presence of mosquitoes. Since there were no mosquito nets on the windows, we weren’t able to open them, which made the air circulation quite uncomfortable—particularly difficult because one of our children is allergic to mosquito bites. This morning, we observed the cleaning staff as they prepared the apartment for the next guests. Unfortunately, they seemed to perform only very basic surface cleaning, without using a vacuum or addressing any deep cleaning needs. We feel this apartment has great potential, but it does require more attention—both in terms of regular maintenance and in ensuring a proper, thorough cleaning between guests. A few relatively simple upgrades, like installing mosquito nets, could make a big difference in comfort.

The location and the beautiful building.

The experience is in the details and unfortunately too much was a bit off here. The aircondition was right next to the beds and extremely loud, without even cooling the air enough. The rooms were over-crowded with large and dark furniture like huge cabinets and worn out armchairs. Half of them would have been enough Lighting in the rooms may seem like a small detail, but was actually quite annoying since the rooms were quite dark. The “living room” only had a lamp in the ceiling, which made it difficult to read the kids to sleep in the sofa bed. Last but not least, the staff didn’t seem very engaged, which in my experience almost always depends on poor working conditions (which I of course no nothing about).
