Hotel Vienna

I do not recommend Hotel Vienna. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. I was initially given a room on the 4th floor, where the conditions were unacceptable. The windows were old and in poor condition, the bed was uncomfortable and worn out, and the bathroom looked extremely outdated. The shower setup was terrible, with only a curtain in the middle of the bathroom and a wooden grate on the floor. Everything felt old, neglected, and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, there were cats in the neighboring room or nearby area, and a strong smell of cats came into my room. The odor was very unpleasant and made it difficult to relax. Because of these issues, I requested a different room. I was then moved to a room on the 2nd floor, but the situation did not improve. The room was filled with an extremely strong and irritating air freshener smell, which seemed to be used to cover up bad odors coming from the room or the walls. The scent was so overpowering that it became uncomfortable to stay in the room. The reception experience was disappointing from the start. The staff were not welcoming, and customer service was poor. Later in the evening, I had a drink at the bar, but the service there was also unfriendly and unprofessional. Breakfast was very limited, and the eggs had a strange smell that raised concerns about their freshness. Overall, the hotel felt neglected, outdated, and far below the standard I expected. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend this hotel to other travelers. A complete renovation and significant improvements in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service are urgently needed.
