What didn’t I like! I only wanted to stay longer. The quiet setting, incredible views, access to the Amalfi Coast spots should you desire (without all the madness that is Amalfi or Positano), great hosts and yummy breakfasts too.

Villa Il Frantoio is a GEM of a place to stay on the Amalfi Coast. We booked based on past reviews and photos and we are SO happy we were able to stay here. The location of the property is perfect. Located on the mountain side of Praiano overlooking the Mediterranean and Positano, surrounded by gardens —- this hotel is pure bliss.

Everything!!! The hosts were soooo kind, treated us like family and went above and beyond. They gave us so many helpful recommendations for restaurants and things to do — we wish we had more time on this property. Our room had the best views. We loved that we were surrounded by gardens and grass and felt so peaceful. The breakfast was UNREAL— the croissants were the best croissants I have ever had — I will forever be dreaming of them.

This is a very special place that will hold a lot of memories for us. Breakfast in the garden room with beautiful views of the coast was a lovely start to the day. We stayed in the 2 bed house which was great for the 4 of us. The staff are all very friendly & welcoming & we had a wonderful stay.

The steps! But we expected them & used the back route when we arrived & left with our luggage.
