Wow!! From the room to the views to the amazing people that work there, we could not have been more happy! What an incredible 4 nights we had and we were so thankful that we ended our 3 weeks in Southern Italy here. The team made us feel like we were family and it shows in all they do. Great breakfast and espressos, beautiful views and comfortable beds. What more can be said. Stay in this perfect place and perfect town (sandwiched in between) and enjoy the quiet and awesome people of Villa iI Frantoio! You will not regret it.

Not one single thing!

The location was very good for us. Besutiful view. Not to many people But right where the path of the Gods starts. BUT - the atmosphere and the serviceminded staff just made it superb. Nothing less But the best.

Well - 200 steps with a heavy suitcase is to be aware of when you book a Hill side place, But for us is was a part of the charm and good free exercise for the legs.

I cannot say enough good things about Villa Il Frantoio! I was travelling alone and stayed for 6 nights - the room was spacious, with a whirlpool bath, kitchenette and very comfortable bed. The view from the private garden was spectacular, breakfast was varied and fresh and the pool was heated, which was good for April! Giacomo, Giulio and Cristina really look after their guests, remembering how you like your eggs in the morning and for general local knowledge. I had contacted them before I travelled for a recommendation for a transfer from Naples and they sent me information and I got a very good deal for a shared transfer. Yes, there are 250 steps up from the main road but they are totally doable and the view is worth it. I will return with my husband and kids to stay in the apartment when my girls are big enough to handle the steps! Thank you for a wonderful stay-this trip was a gift for my 40th birthday and my main aim was to relax, have a rest, and enjoy the view and it exceeded all of my expectations. Would highly recommend staying here - Praiano is quieter and calmer than Positano or Amalfi but the local bus will get you to either of them in half an hour for €1.50!

Nothing!

The villa overlooks Praiano and Positano and is just a short walk from the central town. Daily cleanings and made to order beverages make this a bespoke experience. Giacomo and the rest of the team give amazing recommendations and there’s plenty of opportunity to mingle with fellow travelers.

Villa I’ll Frantonio was a perfect place to stay while touring the Amalfi coast. Giacomo and Cristina were great hosts and so very helpful providing information on activities, restaurants and transportation around the area. Breakfast was included and it was cooked fresh, hearty and included many local seasonal items. One could walk directly to the “Path of Gods” hiking trail right from the hotel which was a bonus as was the heated pool and sun loungers which afforded an amazing view of the ocean. 5 out of 5 stars for this wonderful boutique hotel.

Staff were very friendly and a wealth of advice and information to help plan local travel. The room were clean, and the cleaning staff friendly. I enjoyed the morning breakfasts. Very good location, close to the Path of the Gods / Sentiero degli Dei. Quiet, laid back escape from the crowds of Positano.

Perhaps more kitchen accessories, such as hot plate/ hobs for cooking, microwave to heat reheat, also refrigerator for storing personal food.

We had a great stay here. The room exceeded my expectations. Our balcony was a glorious sun trap with an exceptional view and we enjoyed the pool which was open in April (many elsewhere are not). We stayed in Positino the next night, but if we were doing the trip again we would have stayed longer here. Giacomo was a great host and made delicious eggs for breakfast each morning. Beautiful, clean, fresh.
