Aparthotel AMMI Nice Massena

The location was great. The staff were kind, and the rooms were big and comfortable.

The elevator being on the middle floor, and having to carry the luggage up and down.

This hotel is in a perfect location. It's near a beautiful plaza and close to both tram lines. It's a short walk to Vieux Nice and to the promenade. The room had a nice view of the street. Also, the staff was terrific. Always smiling and willing to answer questions. The kitchen had enough utensils and pans for basic cooking. There are several important things to note. The hotel says it has an elevator, but it didn't work twice in less than a week. Also, you have to climb stairs to get to the elevator, and then down some stairs to get to reception. If you have baggage or trouble with stairs, this is an issue. The rooms felt like an upgraded hostel to me. Both the air conditioning and the heat could not be used because of "programming issues" connected to the building. The WiFI was inconsistent, and often dropped altogether. Also, there was noise from the street, including cleaners who operate early in the morning.

Everything was great! Central location and the staff was super friendly and helpful! The only thing was that the room wasn’t really soundproof so you’d hear your neighbors opening and closing the door.
