We loved this hotel for a host of different reasons. We’re cycling in a heatwave so the air conditioned room felt wonderful. It was clean, comfortable with a big sliding door opening onto the garden. I think all rooms have this. The pool was large and clean and the lake was beautiful. We had a great meal there as well. But the biggest plus we want to give is the fact that my husband left his credit cards there. He realised about 30 minutes into our uphill cycle ride and we didn’t want to turn back. So we called and the wonderful owner picked up his cards and drove to meet us in a nearby town. Wow. She was exceptionally kind. We liked her vivacity anyway, and this was that extra step not make would make.

Fantastic owner Melanie Robert was very helpful and friendly during our 6 night stay and was even helpful on a private problem which arose during our visit.
