The Norwich Inn

Our visit to the Norwich Inn was terrific. We booked at third floor room (there is no elevator) and Gretchen at the front desk gave us a choice to move rooms and offered to let us see both as well as an endorsement that the room we booked was "worth the climb." She was certainly correct as the room we booked, and stayed in, was beautiful. The bed, after an additional climb, was comfortable and provided a good night rest. The Inn is right downtown close to many points of interest (like the King Arthur Baking School) and overall a charming overnight. We also ate at the restaurant which had excellent food and service.

This was everything we expected. Very friendly staff. Comfy rooms. Great pub. Good food. We would certainly go back again.

Loved the coziness and charm of the inn. The roaring fire, the good food, the friendly staff.

We stayed in room 13 in the annex building behind the inn and it exceeded all expectations. The room was very large, very clean, fluffy towels, amazing art work of birds, quiet, etc. It felt brand new. Also convenient having a restaurant and bar in the inn. Nice homey feel in the main inn.

It’s odd that they charge $8 for a continental breakfast - they should just build it into the rate.

It really was centrally located. There was a pub there so you could have some food right there, there was music. We really enjoyed all that.

Well, climbing two flights of steps to our room with luggage was not anybody safe and the bed was really really tall

This was an excellent trip. Norwich is a beautiful New England town and the Norwich Inn is a nice New England Inn. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I am looking forward to staying here again in the future.
