Maui Beach House

Maui Beach B&B was outstanding for the price! I didn't rate higher because the pillows were hard and after one week our sheets were quite sandy and damp. The little breakfast basket was nice and different every day. A little sitting area in the front yard was great for morning coffee and whale watching. My husband and I would return! But, would opt for a larger room next time. The rooms are the size of a small bedroom so you should be organized. Enjoyed!!

I would stay at the Best Western in Lahania before staying there again! Not a B &B that I have ever stayed at before. There is no one to greet you or ask directions, so no front desk or personal contact at all. The spa didn't work and hasn't for a while yet it was on their website. Your breakfast is delivered in a basket the night before with a pastry a piece of fruit and a juice box in it, really!! No maid service and you have to ask for extra towels if needed by phone or a note . If you want to be completely on your own while staying in Maui then you might like this place. I found there website misleading and if I would have known more about the place I would have never stayed there to begin with... remember you are staying on the bottom floor of someone's home.

A very bare bones B and B, tiny fridge, plastic utensils, no host contact unless required, typical continental breakfast, no cooking equipment, no wine/beverage glasses. Great location, small secluded beach across the street. The suite is very nice and comfortable and roomy

Quiet neighborhood, very tranquil settings. Sit outside in garden and eat dinner with an ocean view, listening to the waves crashing right across the street

I rarely leave reviews but I do think that people should know that this is not really a private establishment and there is no private beach. I paid way more than what I would have paid for a much nicer condo in a complex because I was sold on the beach. Well it's not a beach you can lay out on and you have to search to even find a way down to it. I was gone a few nights and when I did return late in the evenings there was no breakfast basket left out for me. I guess they figured I wasn't coming back but to me that's something that should be offered regardless. Shampoo given but no conditioner. People right in front of my window during the day doing laundry and gardening. See through window shades. I can't say it was horrible because it wasn't. It was just okay. In the end I guess it all depends on what you're looking for. If you don't care about a nice room with privacy and you're going to be gone most of the day I guess it doesn't really matter. I won't be going back.

The B&B was very clean. It had a refrigerator, beach towels, robes. No A/C but did not need it in Nov, Nice cross breeze kept it from getting hot. Right across the street from the beach. Very easy to find. Need a car, not close to restaurants.

The location was easy to find. There was a designated parking spot with plenty of room. The room itself was okay. It was clean. It was darker than I would prefer. There was no air conditioning. There were only 1 1/2 rolls of toilet paper for a week's stay. There was only 1 small round bar of soap and no other amenities which would include: soap bars, lotion, shampoo and conditioner, hair dryer, iron and ironing board. There were two bedrooms with a note on one of them not to use. No explanation why. There was a notice posted regarding bed bugs. I make many trips to various islands and have never seen this notice posted before. Not clear as to whether they had a problem with them or it was something that was required to post. Nonetheless, it made me a little nervous as to whether I should be worried about them. Sitting on our deck, we could see into the room next to us and also hear them use the bathroom. The oceanview from the deck was limited by large plants. My expectations are higher than what I received so I would not stay here again.

This was a great stay for a great price. Relaxing and quiet. The continental breakfast was very tasty and fresh fruit was satisfying. The bamboo suite was clean and comfortable. I will surely visit again hopefully with my whole family.

Pros: Nice ocean view,near to many beaches and attractions . Cons: No AC(Air condition) , they said it will get cooler in night but still need AC . Breakfast is not that great .

I needed a few days of quiet and solitude to work on some book chapters I must finish. I found exactly what I was looking for. Maui Beach B&B was relaxing and serene. It is not a hotel so don't think about those kinds of amenities. The room was clean and new with a small refrigerator, plasma tv and AC. The bathroom was up to date. It is across the street from a small beach which was nice and close to several restaurants. The management was superb, accommodating, and soooooo kind. I recommend to all who need quiet and relaxation. I know Hawaii law does not allow for a hot breakfast and that is the one thing I missed upon waking, but there was ample fruit, bread, coffee, and juice. Thanks for a great time, and I will see you all again.
