Hotel Ristorante Sole

This hotel was really nice! We sprang for the balcony view room, and we should have arrived earlier to take advantage. The restaurant downstairs was bustling with other travelers, not just from the hotel. We did have some time to sit out and enjoy the evening coming down on Lake Como. Elevator and the room has plenty of space with a separate entry room and bathroom, very large. The little village with the castle was incredible, lots of locals walking around and if you follow the narrow streets down to the waterfront there is a little piazza down there and we just happened to catch a large fireworks show from Menaggio that only happens once a year in the summer! Glad we decided to walk in the evening, instead of the next morning. The only gripe about the hotel may be the road out front is the only road and kind of busy, it did quiet down later at night, and the windows are plenty thick and noise proof.

We stayed at the hotel in July for 5 nights and we were very happy with our stay. The hotel is clean and the staff is very accommodating. We will stay here again when we return. Daniel

Hotel Sole is located in a quiet, less touristic area of Lake Como. The lake is directly on the opposite site of the street an has a coast path to two lovely villages. The room was a bit small and dark but clean and quiet. The bed was comfortable, Wifi worked really good and the breakfast was tasty.

Buen lugar para parar y visitar san giminiano y siena. Hotel austero pero con un lindo entorno. La tv nunca funcionó le pedí a la recepcionista de la mañana que me solucione el problema y nada.

Familiengeführtes Hotel in phantastischer Lage direkt am Ufer des Comer Sees. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist vielseitig und lecker. Geräumiges Zimmer mit Balkon und herrlicher Aussicht über den See. Leider direkt an der Straße, aber die Fenster sind recht gut gedämmt. Sehr gute Klimaanlage im Zimmer.

We were delighted with this hotel, where the management, Mother and daughter were so happy to help, with a smile at all times. This included the restaurant staff, under the able direction of Alina, supported by Elizabeth. Also the housekeeping girls were excellent, even to written Birthday wishes for my wife.

On arrival we were given room 109. We had booked an economic room but i think this is the worst room of the hotel. It smelled of drainage not because it was not clean (as all hotel and rooms are clean) but because it seems they had a plumbing problem. Upon claiming Hotel owners immediately upgraded us to another room with a wonderful view....excusing themselves for the inconvenience and explaining that that is the only room in the hotel that gives problems. Otherwise as i u can see i gave 5 points for everything to the hotel...including children playarea, very convenient parking and just across the road from the river. Breakfast is good....but choice is limited. Location is not in a specific village so lungomare walks are not that possible.

a lovely hotel, quite and beautiful location, view to the lake with access to the beach, newly furnished, comfortable and good service.
