Alpenrose Hotel & Gardens

Guys in reception are very friendly and helpful, they are perfect. However, the bath is too small, the cleaner was not good did not change stuffs for the next day even soap was empty did not full it, lack of breakfast.

Hotel incrível, muito bom o quadro de recepcionistas, todos muito atenciosos e prestativos. Cidade proxima a interlaken e o Hotel da um cartao valido durante a estadia para ir de bus gratis pro centro. Café da manhã bom e incluso. Nao temos o que falar de ruim.

Friendly and helpful staff, good location. Cute older building. Restaurant was lovely. Overall great place to stay.

The hotel is very lovely with the charm of old wooden building. Note that there is no elevator. The hotel is in a very quiet neighbourhood, at walking distance of the train station and convenience stores. There is a parking lot in front of the hotel, but it was always full during our stay. We had a room facing the amazing garden and the mountains. The room has a small balcony where you can sit and relax watching the mountains. You can even see the scientific station at the top of the Jungenfrau from the room. The room is equipped with an electric kettle and tea-coffee set. The room was spacious, the beds a bit firm. The restaurant of the hotel offers great Swiss meal. We ate there 2 evenings, and the meals were really great. The only let-down was the breakfast buffet. There wasn't much variety, no pastries, no local specialities. Also, there were individual portions (for covid reason i guess). Those indovodual portions were very tiny: 3 cherry tomatos in one tiny jar, a table spoon of fruit salad in another tiny jar. This wasn't enough to fill my morning apetite.

Very pleasant hotel, conveniently located near the train station, with helpful friendly staff. Room we stayed in was very basic, but comfortable enough and had a small balcony with an amazing view of the garden, village and magnificent mountains. Very nice breakfast. The room also has a small electric kettle for tea or coffe.

This Hotel is older and keeps with style of the area, but it is very clean, the beds are comfortable and it is only a 2 min walk to the rail station. Please note they do not have an elevator so you do have to use stairs but the staff are very willing to carry your luggage up for you. It comes with a nice breakfast and the restaurant is also a good choice for dinner. The view from our room was breathtaking and we enjoyed the cool air and the beautiful garden in the back. I can’t say enough about Anze the concierge who greeted us, offered to carry luggage, made reservations, gave directions and check in on us. He makes this nice Hotel even better. If we are in the area we would definitely stay again.

Un personnel attentif et un service irréprochable, malgré les contraintes COVID

3인 가족 여행이었고, 3층으로 배정, 싱글 침대 3개로 불편함 없이 지냈음. 주변 숙소도 비슷하겠지만 최신 건물이 아닌 관계로 고풍적인 느낌을 느낄 수 있었고 이런 점을 감안하여 불편함 없이 지낼 수 있었음. 기차역이 매우 가까워서(걸어서 1~2분) 좋았고, 조식도 무난한 편. 호텔 옆 레스토랑에서 식사 후 마당 둘러보면 좋을 듯 함.
