Palazzo Savona

A hotel has a very good center position(on the main street). Rooms are big and comfortable, as well there was a nice kitchen. However, it's center position - is very noisy... Especially during the weekend: people, cars, music... very hard to sleep.

L'hotel est très bien placé pour les visites et les restaurants. Chambre simple. Attention, pour la chambre indiquée avec salle de bain, la salle de bain est en fait sur le palier (mais seulement pour vous) donc pas très pratique, surtout avec des enfants petits. Et on ne peux arriver ou récupérer ses bagages qu'à certaines heures. Sinon accueil sympathique.

Hotel très bien placé dans le centre de Palerme (bruyant forcément avec la rue principale à côté... Mais ce n'est pas surprenant vu son emplacement). Petit bémol: dommage qu'il faille payer un supplément pour avoir une salle de bain privative.

Despite the friendliness and willingness of the staff, our stay at the hotel was not particularly nice. This is due (as other reviewers, who we failed to listen to, have mentioned) to the noise. We requested a quieter room, and the staff gave us one towards an interior courtyard as opposed to the very noisy street. However, the rooms are not at all soundproof. The noise from the window was not problem; however, everything else was: people vomiting in or otherwise using the toilet, the noise of the kitchen staff at breakfast, anytime the main door opened and was slammed shut, etc. Sleep was minimal. The price we paid for the hotel was quite low, but with extra fees for everything (towels, a/c) plus the noise, the hotel was not worth the trouble.

le personnel a l'accueil est pro, sympathique et parle français. les chambres sont propres et spacieuses avec balcon. la déco est sobre mais agréable. l'hôtel est bien situé, accessible de la gare centrale a pieds. mais attention les chambres donnant sur la via roma sont bruyantes et l'accueil n'est ouvert que quelques heures par jour donc faire attention aux heures d'arrivee. dans l'ensemble très bon rapport qualité prix.

permanenza di una notte..Camera abbastanza confortevole..personale simpatico e disponibile nonostante fossi arrivata fuori dagli orari di check in..unico neo..il rumore del traffico della via Roma..troppo rumorosa!

Very good Location, friendly staff and sufficient comfort. Annoyingly short opening reception hours, especially an insane break in the afternoon.

The location of the hotel is very close to the city centre, just a few hundred metres from the sightseeing spots. Although the staff could only speak very little English, they were very friendly and willing to help. Palermo is one of the local culturally rich places in Italy and still yet to being exploited by tourism. I would recommend to visit this place if you want to have a very different experience from large cities such as Milan and Rome and do not mind (being observed) by the local people, especially for Asians or non-Europeans, since most of them have probably met a few only in their lives!!!
