Jan & Marc's attention to detail is amazing. The house is filled with fantastic and beautiful furnishings yet very cozy & comfortable. The breakfast is one of the best experiences you will have visiting.Ghent. You must sit in the garden at sunset!

We had a wonderful weekend here and can’t recommend it enough. Beautiful property lovingly restored. The owners were perfect hosts and the hotel and gardens are a calming oasis in the middle of town. We will try to visit Ghent again in a quieter time and will definitely head for the B&B The Verhaegen.

From the breakfast to the lovely room we stayed in, everything was perfect and our hosts were so accommodating and welcoming. Couldn’t have picked a better B&B!
