"Quiet Gem near Plivicka..."

10.0

The hotel is about 10 minutes from Gate 2 of the park. The hotel is extremely clean and the satff was very helpful. The grounds are beautiful and very quiet as it is off the main highway about a kilometer or so. The restaurant next door is nice and the food was great, and the breakfast that comes with your room is fantastic. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and would definitely stay there again when in the area...

"Great breakfast and location"

8.0

The local roads can be hard to navigate but overall it wasn't that hard to find the hotel. It looked like it has been recently renovated and had a billard room and a nice outdoor play area for kids. The rooms are abit old but large for Europe and clean. WiFi was a bit weak and the breakfast was in the restaurant that was right next door, so it wasn't a big deal to walk over. It was a pretty filling breakfast with both cold and cooked items that you can order. It was a short 10min drive at most to the Plitvice lakes park.

"Great place to stay for the park"

10.0

We stayed 2 nights. The price was way better than the hotels inside the park. We were impressed with everything - the staff was great to talk to, the room was clean and large, and the restaurant was good. The included breakfast was excellent. Highly recommended.

"Very good and comfortable hotel for decent price!"

10.0

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in order to visit Plitvice lakes. This place turned out to be one of the the most pleasant hotels for a decent price that me and my husband had in Croatia. Even though room had no AC, there was a fan that allowed to have a decent rest in a hot season. Room and bathroom was very nice, clean and spacious. Suroundings of the hotel also very well maintained, with nice garden outside and a restaurant right next doors. The staff of the hotel was very pleasant , welcoming and helpful. Overall - very nice stay!

"Right on the front. Lovely receptionist."

8.0

The lady on reception was very friendly and helpful when we arrived. It appears you can get the hotel to reserve a parking spot right outside (though you'll have to pay for it), but by chance we apparently found the 'only spot on the road you don't have to pay to park in'. The room was small, but fine for a couple of nights. Internet access is free but signal strength is patchy so you might have to go down to the bar. Our room was right on the front, with a sea view, but that meant it was also a bit noisy until about midnight, and then again at 6 or 7ish; ear plugs fixed things the 2nd night. You get a free pass to use the indoor pool at the Savoy hotel opposite which was a nice bonus.

"Plitvicka Sedra - Recommended"

10.0

Excellent for those who will or went to Plitivicka National Park. Very quiet and comfortable. Good breakfast. Only one suggestion. The hotel website and the Hotels.com should inform the additional cost for using the air-conditioner. Although a small amount, it is not nice to hear 'it is not included in your rate' when you tell the front desk you cannot find the ac remote control.

"No Air Conditioning, Awful Restaurant."

4.0

As title really. Despite being sold on this site as having a/c, the rooms do not. Very uncomfortable, and as a result we hardly slept for the two nights of our stay. Restaurant was awful. I sent my meal back twice (1st time cold, 2nd time inedible). Waitress was rude and unapologetic. It's a shame, because the hotel is smart and the rooms were clean and well appointed (minus the all important a/c). Not recommended.

"Plitvicka Seda Croatia"

10.0

The hotel was clean and the rooms large and clean with free parking. Breakast was good and location was 10 minutes from the Lakes. Advise an early start 8:00am when visiting the lakes and go to Entrance 1. It is a wonderful walk and very easy but about noon it gets very busy.

"New and clean, but a strange design"

8.0

This hotel is 2-story building attached to the back of a family home in a rural setting. Strangely, the grand entrance to the hotel with the sliding glass doors is from the family driveway, not the guest driveway/guest car park side of the building. The hotel is concrete construction with coral stone tastefully glued around all the windows. Inside is a large reception area. On checking in we were asked how we would like to pay when we checked out. We said cash, and then were asked which currency we would like to pay in. The double room we stayed in was large and contained a double bed comprised of 2 twin mattresses pushed together (this is normal for the area, apparently), a small table and chairs, a balcony overlooking the neighbour's work yard. There was a strange styrofoam design/artwork above the bed, somewhat damaged by many fingers poking into it. The room rate included breakfast, which is served in the restaurant 2 doors down. It was difficult to understand our waitress's English, but we eventually discovered that we automatically get a continental breakfast served, plus each of us gets to choose a "warm dish" and a "breakfast" dish from the menu. Some of the items on the English menu are abbreviated oddly, making it impossible to determine what the food actually is without ordering. This is what we did, and got a pepperoni omelette and some deep fried cheese. On our second day i selected 2 items from the menu on the waitress's prompting, and before my wife could select her 2 the waitress disappeared to the kitchen. Later she appeared with the food, so apparently we were only allowed 2 items between us on the second day!

"Plitvice Hotel"

The hotel was just fine, clean and comfortable and close enough to the national park to be very convenient.
