Alpensport Hotel Seimler tilbyder det meste af det man som ferie rejsende efterlyser, et pænt stort værelse, pænt badeværelse, god mad og forplejning generelt og en perfekt beliggenhed på grænsen mellem Tyskland og Østrig

This is a below average hotel. Desk staff were ok, some didn't speak English that well. Restaurant was dodgy, For breakfast the eggs were available for the first 45 mins, when we sat down at 0745 one of the staff informed us that they were not cooking any more. That same night the wife and I came back after a long day on the hiking trails wanting food, at 2045 it was "too late for food" even though we were told the kitchen was available until 2100. Also just like the previous reviews parking lot gets full quick and the walls and doors are thin, a big group woke us up in the morning. Anyone looking to stay in Berchtesgaden would be better off staying elsewhere.

Smuk natur og utroligt imødekommende personale. Ægte bayersk mad og drikkevarer. Klart et sted man kan besøge flere gange. Sengene er på den lidt hårde side, men det er vel smagssag.

Nice hotel, town centre is walkable. The only criticism is the odd breakfast arrangement: you have to play "find your table" in the morning rather than the usual ticking in and sitting where you like! We sat were we liked, kind of messed their system up a little!

Nice hotel. Double room was ok. I would say the only thing that would of made the room better is a small refridgerator.

The hotel is not close to the town but driving is only about 10 min to the town. The hotel is old but the overall it is clean and the free breakfast is good.

So, this hotel has a great location for the Salt Mines tour...it is located within walking distance of the salt mine and easy driving distance to Berchtesgaden. The hotel has plenty of free parking space and includes the typical European breakfast - breads, cereals, fruits, etc. Downsides: Wifi was NOT included and cost 3Euros for an hour per device...bummer! This was the first hotel in our stay in Germany, so we were a bit jet-lagged looking for a good nights sleep, but the beds are of 1950's caliber and had no flexibility in them - My hips and knees were soooooo sore in the morning
