Hotel Ehranger Hof

The hotel has the perfect location for those, who want to visit Trier but stay outside the city and maybe pay a little less. Just across the hotel there's a railwaystation from where you can take the train directly to Trier Hauptbahnhof (app. 1,50 Euro, 10 Minutes) The staff is very nice and we had a wonderful evening at the restaurant and the bar. The rooms were fine aswell and the breakfast was allright. The only negative thing to notice would be a not quite clean bathroom, but the rest of the room was ok. All in all we had a good stay.

Due to major road work we had a bit of trouble finding the hotel. Once there, we were directed to park our bikes in the owners garage next to the hotel. Check in was fast and efficient and the rooms were well outfitted and comfortable. The dinning room served very tasty dinner and breakfast and the staff were more than hospitable.

Hotel room was clean and the staff was nice.

Wir haben für zwei Nächte in dem Hotel übernachtet. Das Zimmer war sehr nett eingerichtet, alles sauber und ordentlich. Das Bad sehr hübsch und sauber. Die Matratzen waren gut, wir haben gut darauf geschlafen.Auch das Frühstück und das Essen waren gut. Keinerlei Beanstandungen in dieser Hinsicht. Einzigster Minus-Punkt: die Wasserleitungen sind offensichtlich nicht neu, wenn im Nebenzimmer geduscht wurde, hatte man das Gefühl, derjenige steht bei uns neben dem Bett. Aber wenn man in dieser Hinsicht nicht empfindlich ist, würde ich das Hotel jederzeit weiter empfehlen. Danke für einen netten Aufenthalt :-)

Der Hotelaufenthalt war für mich sehr erholsam. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich . Die Zimmer sauber und neu renoviert. Außerdem gab es ein großes Frühstücksbufett

Hotelli toimi välietappina matkalla Moselille ja täytti hyvin tehtävänsä. Paikoitusalueita ei ole, eli auto tielle lähialueille. Hotelli sijaitsi rautatieasemaa vastapäätä mistä johtuen junien ääniä hieman kuuluu. Muuten siisti perushotelli, pientä remonttia ehkä tarvitaan. Aamupala oli yllättävän hyvä sisältyi hintaan. Moottoritieltä tullessa tarvitsee navigaattorin jotta löytää ko. tien.

Huone oli hiljattain remontoitu ja erittäin siisti. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä ja runsas. Hotellin yhteydessä oli ravintola ja olutpaikka. Vastaanotto aukesi vasta kello 16. Hotellissa ei ole hissiä. Ulkopuolella on menossa remontti, joka ei tosin viikonloppuna häirinnyt. Parkkipaikat kadun varressa. Hotelli on lähellä moottoritietä Trierin hiljaisessa esikaupungissa, Trierin keskustaan on noin 6 km. Hyvä paikka yöpyä automatkan varrella.

Where to start...well there were a couple good things. The hotel is close to the train station but you can hear the trains at night. It is also close to a bus stop but quite a long trip to the city center (Porta Nigra area). Reserved a non-smoking room and we were put in a smoking room. Noise from the street and pub located below rooms. No electrical outlet in bathroom. VERY tiny bathroom; so narrow they had to cut a notch in the door so it would clear the sink when closed! Bare bones decor in room. Floor had not been swept so suitcases were dirty. Has a restaurant but we didn't use it. Very limited places to eat near hotel; there is a small grocery store nearby. Could feel the springs in the bed. Wifi very weak in room; had to set up computer on hotel reservations desk. Shower water temperature was inconsistent and hand shower was broken. Burned out bulb in bathroom hadn't been replaced. In short, we checked out a day early!
