Komazin

Everything about Komazin is wonderful, especially top floor patio with view of the sea. Andro and his sweet mum went above and beyond and I can't recommend their home highly enough.

The property is not only spotless but rather it is the defenition of pride of ownership. You can see the care , and the excellent taste . The tiles and marble and workmamship accross the entire property is just beaitiful. Location is roughly 900 meters from downtown. Where you sleep and rest in a none noisy place. The management ( Andro) made us feel at home away from home. He picked us from the port by his car and took us to the property. I have no doubt in my mind that this is the best place we stayed ever. Expedia great job not sure what criteria they use or if they visit the listed properties but my advice would be that thos property should be used as the bench mark. Fabulous apartments with a lovely walk into town Mums Apple strudel was lovely When we asked Andro if he should walk up the hill to the fortress straight away it was jump in the car I will take you there We will return

We had a great stay! Very comfortable, spacious, safe and Andro was extremely welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed! It is a short 10 minute walk to the city, but we enjoy a little exercise!!

Excellent service and advice from owner, Andro, who insisted on picking us up and dropping us at the ferry port before and after our stay. Location is great and a 10 mins walk to Hvar centre as well as being close to supermarkets and beaches. Apartment was tidy and did the job nicely at a reasonable price.

Room was clean, comfortable, quiet and close to restaurants and beach area. Host was great and welcomed us in with a cold drink and offered his recommendations on places to see and where to go. He also gave us a ride in the morning so we could catch our Ferry.

My husband I travelled with our 2 young sons across 4 countries in Europe and stayed in 9 different hotels in July — the Komazin was by far our best stay due to Andro’s exceptional hospitality. We stayed for 4 nights and felt like we were staying with family — from restaurant to beach to car rental recommendations, all were excellent, and Andro’s pick up and drop off to the ferry port was an added bonus. We stayed in the Orange unit and it was spotless. There are 3 grocery stores and a bank machine within walking distance, including the daily car rental place (Dino’s) which we highly recommend to do to see the island. They provide a discount for Komazin guests. We hope to return to Hvar again and stay at the Komazin.

Andro went above and beyond. I fell ill on my stay and he checked up on me, brought my some food, and offered to drive me wherever I needed to go. One of the most hospitable hotel owners I’ve ever encountered. The rooms were a steal for the price.

A lovely apartment within walking distance around the beautiful harbour to the old town and close to a food market and cafes and restaurants. Lovely views from the apartment. The host and his family were very helpful and friendly and gave us a lot of help and ideas about what to see and do in Hvar. I highly recommend this accommodation!
