Central Plaza Hotel

Location: Superb for exploring Sofia. Breakfast: very good, self serve, both cold & hot food available.

Only one lift to serve 6 floors and for the cleaners... very very slow. WIFI: signal very bad - continually dropping out. Noisy room at the front. Could hear the traffic from the trams and the cars.

Breakfast was very good.

The room was too warm. Trams outside early in the morning were noisy.

Nice breakfast with a good choice, though it got a little busy at times so you may end up sharing a table, which was no problem for us. Great location, all the things we wanted to see were within walking distance. The staff were very helpful and gave us some ideas on places eat/drink. We ended up in the "Road 66" pub a few nights which is a very short walk away and served good beer and wine... but there are many other places close by or a short walk into town.

The trams were a little noisy in the early morning, but we were in a room at the front with a big window and balcony so this is maybe not the case for other rooms
