We loved the location, the staff in the hotel were funny and very nice to us, room was modern and very clean as was the beding, coofe, tea and cakes every day, plenty to chose at Breakfast. Spa not our thing but it was very clean, we stop once. ski room was perfect for us easy to use. we would stay again.

I had to communicate to you the lack of service we received by your staff on our holiday. We have been on many a ski holiday and I have never felt the need to complain before. I feel totally underwhelmed. Classification of this hotel - Ski Galzig in St Anton in my opinion was not a true reflection of what we encountered. The breakfast was basic, the staff were lack lustre and the spa facilites were non existant unless you requested them - which led to an hours wait til they reached temperature.No tea or coffee facilities in the rooms and where it was available you could only use up to a certain time. In general the service from the staff was non-existent and I will not revisit. I was probably unlucky on this occasion reading previous reviews.

Bel établissement moderne avec une décoration très réussie. Les chambres sont confortables avec une vue dégagée. Le petit-déjeuner excellent en formule buffet avec la boisson chaude servie à la table. L’accueil et le service sont sympathiques et efficaces

I'm booked in to visit and am hoping property and staff are wonderful, but to date the interaction with the booking and reservation staff has been dismal. It is they are trying their very best to be rude and unhelpful.

Fantastic hotel, we will come back!!

Very good accomodation, excellent breakfast with a high quality products, very close to the slopes and apres ski. Cosy ambiance and big living room. Rooms are large, comfortable beds and great shower products.

Our entire family greatly enjoyed our New Year’s 2019 week stay at Skihotel Galzig. This is a pricey hotel, but we leave that to each traveler to determine their own comfort level and trade-offs. Here are a few thoughts on our visit: RECEPTION: Always very friendly and helpful. BREAKFAST: Very nice selection. One very small suggestion would be that, as many visitors stay for week stays, it might be appreciated to vary the offerings somewhat from day to day. For example, there were scrambled eggs and bacon every day whereas the hotel might rotate those with fried eggs, eggs benedict or other eggs and sausage links or patties or ham. Having a hot breakfast is often desired, and only having scrambled eggs and bacon every day is monotonous. Perhaps an odd thing to mention, but the availability of tap as well as bottled still and sparkling waters was much commented on during the week due to the shocking practice of local restaurants of charging outrageous prices for water with meals (we paid from Eur4 to Eur9 for a single bottle at local restaurants, for which we have ourselves to blame). AFTERNOON TEA: Very much looked-forward to every day. SKI LOCKERS: Having the ski lockers is extremely helpful; however, the small room can be crowded in the morning and afternoon when skiers are leaving for or returning from the day. A few additional sitting areas/chairs would be very helpful. SAUNA: Very nice and clean. Please note that, as this is an Austrian resort, many men (and perhaps women, though we never saw any) shower/sauna fully naked - the nearby city spa has a 16yo age limit for the naked sauna area whereas the hotel has no such limits (at least none that we saw), and so families should consider this when using the spa/sauna. ROOMS: We had two suites, both of which were large and comfortable and had very nice balconies. The one issue with the rooms were the bathrooms. One suite (suite 201) was quite odd in having the toilet in a completely separate room from the sink/shower, requiring the use of a doorknob before washing one’s hand after using the toilet, which can be unsanitary and would not be great for a family with young children. This room, however, had a nice shower stall. The second suite (suite 301) had a more traditional bathroom layout but had one of those unfortunate bath tubs with a much too short retractable shower window that results in the inevitable water on the floor of the bathroom. I always shake my head in wonder at these types of setups as they are inconvenient for both guests and the cleaning staff, and this one was particularly oddly designed in that it had the showerhead pointed towards the window flap instead of away, thus resulting in greater difficulty in avoiding a watery bathroom floor. LOCATION: Could not be better - right next to the two best lifts and a very short walk to the main shopping/restaurant street. Not having a restaurant on property was not at all problematic and, in fact, was perhaps better as it encourages guests to explore the local restaurants. One note to consider is that this hotel is in St. Anton and, while it might have a premiere location in St. Anton, there are various other villages in the inter-connected ski region, some of which (Lech and Zurs) are more centrally located and thus might be worth considering if one hopes to explore the entire area.

A wonderful hotel in the heart of St. Anton. Chairlifts 2 minutes away as is the city centre with plenty of restaurants and shops. Great, clean, large rooms. Even the kids had their own space. Breakfast was delicious. And the staff was very welcoming and informed.
