Hotel was in a good location and staff were very friendly and helpful, couldn't fault the staff.

The hotel and room furniture and fittings were very low budget, but at a very high cost, I didn't feel the photos resembled the room at all at €414 for 2 nights (2 people) in Mid September, and certainly didn't resemble the 9.3 score on booking.com We spent 3 nights in Porto & 2 nights in Aveiro and spent less on those hotels which were far superior to this one. I appreciate Lisbon may be more expensive location to stay but not to these extremes. The chairs in the room looked like they had come out of a skip, the chest of drawers were very cheap, maybe from Home Bargains. I could go on. I'm not a Hotel snob and have stayed in far nicer Travelodge rooms. Therefore the hotel was very disappointing and I was relieved to be only staying 2 nights.

Fensterläden wurden vom Zimmerservice wieder aufgemacht nach dem Putzen. Dadurch war es immer heiss in der Unterkunft als man am Abend wieder ins Hotel kehrte.

The staff is fantastic -- helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. We loved breakfast on the terrace, and the room was clean, comfortable, modern and quiet (the air conditioning was also quiet and worked well). It's located on a quiet little street up near St. George's castle; it was fun to be in the older part of the city.

Rio and Francois went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The view was beautiful and the room was very comfortable..

La vue incroyable, emplacement parfait près du château, le confort de la chambre, l’accueil très chaleureux et les recommandations de Monsieur François ont été précieuses. Buffet très bien garni.

Pas d’ascenseur, eau chaude prenait du temps à arriver en haut !
