Beautiful stay

Quite loud in the night

Very central location, with a lot of old world charm. Unlike almost any other stay. The view from the breakfast room is amazing.

If you have heavy luggage, prepare to carry the luggage up several flights of stairs.

The property is beautiful- an oasis of calm. Our room was very large and comfortable. We were made to feel very welcome and were looked after very well. Altogether, we shall remember this stay as one of the very best.

I can’t recommend this place. Although the apartament was beautiful and the room spacious with a beautiful view in the heart of lovely Pistoia, the experience was terrible. We came in the late afternoon, it was already dark and we couldn’t find the place - the owner didn’t answer the phone although he knew the time we were coming and should be expecting us. A stranger helped us. We got the keys to the room and that was it. We had to ask for wifi key, where and when the breakfast was. We got small towels not big enough to put on your wet hair, they weren’t changed the six nights we were there. The breakfast we paid for - PATHETIC. I understand that Italians eat sweet breakfast - that’s ok but we paid and got pre-packed muffins every day and coffee, not even with milk, which was prepared every evening and waited for us till next morning. It’s better to spend 3€ in a cafe nearby on a cornetto and a cappuccino. The bathroom was pretty dirty with shit stains and water pressure was terrible. We can understand some inconvenience in such old building but the worst part was the atmosphere in the apartment. We paid for the stay but we felt like complete intruders. No one answered our “hello” or didn’t even smile, the booking said they speak English - they don’t, but we speak a bit Italian, they didn’t even ask us a single question. When we were cooking in the kitchen a lady came, looked at us and took her olive oil to her room as we were thieves. They sighed when they saw us. The cleaning lady was nice and tried speaking to us. But the owners are lazy and unkind and they try to make the most money - saving on breakfast, cleaning the room and even the toilet paper was lacking. It’s sad because the apartament self was really something special and Pistoia turned out to be a lovely town.

Grand town house with vaulted ceilings and frescos. A beautiful family home that makes you feel instantly welcomed. Perfect location for everything a must for every traveller

The view from window and balcony was awesome. Vintage interior and very high ceiling gave a feeling like living in a castle.

Breakfast is mostly sweet bakery products. The stairs are super long. Hard to sleep at night during summer festival period.
