Hotel Boutique Calas de Alicante

The staff were very helpful when needed and polite. The pool was nice, clean and not crowded. The shower in the room was absolutely brilliant too. You have a safe a fridge and everything you need for a stay. The location was well placed to get to San Juan or Alicante Centre with a short bus ride.

The food served was awful. The main restaurant area wasnt open and we were served the the same old food choices each day with, rock hard paella sat for hours and very, very, very limited choice and seemed like the same almost every night. Don't bother paying half board, eat elsewhere or you will be disappointed. We travelled 20th - 24th June. DO NOT STAY HERE THEN if you value any sleep at all. Ar around 10pm, it seems that hundreds and hundreds of youths came out armed with bagfulls of pyrotechniques and it was like bombs going off constantly until 5am. Theres no earbuds in the world that will stop that. I genuinely think I would've got more sleep in a city in the Ukraine at the height of the bombings a few years ago. It was constant. The hotel has a duty to advise guests of something this dramatic, I think. Did not sleep at all any night. I think that outside of these dates, things may have been better. You use a hotel to eat sleep and relax. The relax part was great but the other elements were very, very disappointing.

Das Personal war sehr, sehr gut, sehr zuvorkommend, freundlich, hilfsbereit! Das war das Beste an dem ganzen Aufenthalt. Auch gut das Frühstücksbuffet.

Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis bestimmte vorne und hinten nicht. Spiegel waren dreckig, insgesamt die Hygiene ließ zu wünschen übrig. Der Pool relativ klein und relativ abgenutzt.. für 150 € pro Nacht könnte man wirklich mehr erwarten.

Great locality, nice staff, good value for money

Everything was good

Hotel is lovely and quiet. The location is perfect if you don't mind not being right on the beach. There's a little parade of shops nearby and a bus a couple of minutes walk away. You can easily get to Alicante and to St Joan beach from there for €1.45 per trip pee person. Staff are friendly, food is nice and the rooms are clean. The pool is small and there aren't so many sun loungers, but certainly when we stayed that wasn't an issue as it didn't get at all busy It's really handy having a fridge in the room too

There wasn't much water supplied in the room so we had to get a big bottle in the supermarket. This was only really an issue in the Sunday as nothing local was open so we had to get water from the bar which was a bit pricey.
