Amazing employees, owners, and property!! Highly recommend this place!! Next door to Pelourinho!! Quite rooms, quite outside area, great outdoor space, great cozy rooms, great breakfast, great service!! 10/10 and will come back for sure!! Highly recommend!

Quero agradecer imensamente aos gerentes Claudio, Gabriel e Vitor pela excelente recepção que nos foi dada a mim e ao meu esposo pois foi a primeira vez que estivemos em Salvador. Muito obrigada pelo seus zelos, cuidado e atenção tanto a nós como os demais hóspedes. Parabéns as pessoas da limpeza, aos responsáveis pela cozinha um café da manha delicioso e bem variado. A localização da pousada em especial que dá acesso aos pontos turísticos principais. Amei muito vocês e Salvador também , e podem ter certeza que estarei mais uma vez nessa cidade encantadora e minha preferencia de hospedagem vai ser a Pousada da Mangueira com certeza. Localização excelente. Funcionários super prestativos. Café da manhã excelente, frutas, vários sabores de sucos naturais. Muito satisfeita.

It was a great stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds!

Air conditioning in the room was a joy. Staff were friendly, smiley and helpful. The pool is well maintained and cleaned daily. The gardens are full of wildlife. Claudio especially goes above and beyond his duties to help. Very close to the Pelorinho and a great base for carnival.

We had a lovely time at Mangeira. Though the room was not large, it was clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and welcoming. The property is gated and feels safe and secure. It was a short walk to the historic Pelhourinho and Mercado, although anyone with limited mobility would have a difficult time navigating the sharp slope down and then up again to get there. The pool was nice to come back to after a day at Carnaval, and the poolside bar featured reasonable drinks and delicious caipirinhas. Friends staying at other pousadas in the neighborhood were jealous of this beautiful property and amazing view of town. Breakfast was varied and tasty. My only hesitation about staying here again during the week of Carnaval is that the convenience of staying so close to the Pelourinho meant that loud music could be heard day and night- a great party atmosphere for Carnaval, but not good for sleeping. Note: I have been here in January also, when the town is quieter, and there is a much more serene atmosphere at that time. Just know what you are getting into during Carnaval! There was even a fun Carnaval party here for guests featuring a pool party and live music. I would definitely come back to stay at this wonderful pousada.

An excellent team operates this property! Location was excellent, between two squares each in a lively neighborhood.

Pousada bem localizada, perto do pelourinho, com um bom custo benefício. Os funcionários sao todos muitos prestativos, e dão boas dicas de atrações e restaurantes.

Staff amazing! The owner super nice and also Gabriel in the reception super friendly, great tips and he speaks English. Amazing location
