The Oriental Siam Resort

My friends and I were celebrating a special birthday milestone. It was the first time in Chiang Mai for all of us 5 girls. We were welcomed with a nice cool drink and beautiful smiles. From the moment we stepped through the open walk way, the lush greenery and sounds of water gave instant peace. Nat, the owner was communicative prior and throughout our 7 day stay. She takes her time making each guest feel like family. I highly recommend utilizing the hotel concierge/manager, Mr. Kolby who can design day trips, transportation, and excursions. Our highlights were the local organic cooking farm and an elephant sanctuary. The resort is an easy 20-30 min. Car ride into the center city. The resort is truly a sanctuary for those of us needing to get away from the day to day busyness: people who may need a reconnection to nature and who are open to new sounds that a Chiang Mai morning may bring. I highly recommend Oriental Siam Resort and plan on coming back soon!

The lush setting, so tropical - Intimate and private. The hosts are so welcoming and friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Food was great, we extended our stay here because it was just perfect

We were so impressed by this place and didn’t want to leave!!! We’d come back any day because… - Nat, her family & the team are the most generous, helpful and accommodating hosts that we have met! They helped with every request we had, called ahead to organise trips, were always up for a lovely chat and even walked us to nearby places. They even helped out with our youngest child in the mornings so we could enjoy a peaceful breakfast! - The place is absolutely gorgeous: an oasis of lush green in the city. Not too many cottages so it never gets loud or noisy. We loved our terrace and enjoyed the beautiful pool view. Our kids loved the pool, the fish in the pond and the playground behind the cottages. - The cottages are spacious and (just like the entire place) furnished and decorated very exquisitely. - The rooms were impeccably clean, every day. - The hotel is near downtown. We used the app “Grab” to hire rides and only paid like 3 Euros to the old city. In general, much to do in the area, we never got bored. - This has easily been the most beautiful hotel on our trip through the country as a family of four - I would absolutely recommend! Staff here is super friendly and the service is very good.

A gem outside of town, a great escape from the busy tourist areas. My son and I enjoyed the peace and warm family atmosphere. By the end of our stay, felt like family. Can’t wait to go back! Budget for grab into town, about 150 baht each way. Totally worth it to have some true rest and relaxation in Chiang Mai.

An oasis away from the hustle of the old city. Traditional Thai architecture and old world service!

If you want quiet, ask for a villa farther from the pool. Great for families, and pool Can get loud.

wonderful place, owners and staff welcomed us warmly. We rented 3 x double rooms and got a free upgrade to a villa. A beautiful boutique-villa resort with a tropical garden just 15 minutes from the center of Chian Mai, we recommend it wholeheartedly and we will definitely come back to this place.
